    I have been chemical free for about 13 years 😊 for a long time NO HEAT! The last 3 years my silk press had me in a chokehold 😢 2 weeks ago I took the leap and chopped off all the heat damage 😊 Now I begin my natural no heat journey again. I have a few spots with a limp loose curl pattern. I plan to use a “bond builder” to hopefully repair the hair and tighten up my loose strands. Thank you for this informative video 😊 you now have a new subscriber 🎉

    A few things:
    1. Why not discuss the intensive treatment with the Redkin ABC line? The intensive treatment does way more than that leave-in. Its really the star of that line for bond repair products. Side note: I have used the whole line and that is without a doubt the star of the show and has improved.
    2. The Davine's product that you discussed is step #2 of their bond products with the natural tech line. Before you use the nourishing pak, you are supposed to use the Nourishing Keratin SuperActive Wonder, there are drops that are optional if you want to intensify the treatment (if team course and coilly then yes) and then follow with the nourishing pak. Side note: Use this one too it does work)
    3. With epres and k18, when you used it, did you just spray it on or did you use a comb or brush to work the product through your hair? I find for both much better results when worked through the hair.
    4. What is your thoughts on combining or using multiple bond treatments, like a prep with one brand and using a leave-in with another brand?
    As far as improvement with results, is your personal opinion on improvement with products based on shine, curl definition, detailing, strength, elasticity, less breakage or any other category? For me, I look at curl definition, reduced frizziness, shine, softness, decreased breakage, moisture, overall reduction of split ends and knots, and smoothness of ends of my strains. Sorry, so long but I do use bond repair treatments as part of my hair routine for my coily course hair.

    hey i love the information but one correction is that “over protein” is actually impossible and what is actually occurring is dehydration n dry hair not over protein. there was a girl who as a chemist and they said theres no such thing!!

    I'll probably try the Living Proof and Redken ones at some point. I'm enjoying the Olaplex and k18 the last year or so. They do different things for my hair, but all good. Wouldn't mind a less expensive option.

    K18 is my go too that replaced them all. At first I didn’t know how 3 pumps was ever going to spread through my hair but somehow it does. It’s like magic. I tried epres as well. It’s ok. It gave me good hair that wash day. I didn’t like how the owner said he created Olaplex when he was one of the assistants in the lab. They even changed the epres website when found out. I just don’t care for shadiness.

    Some types of hair can not take too much protein once a month is good enough moisture balance with portein works very well but its all about balance

    Girlies please be careful of over processing the hair with the bond repairs. In my experience, using too many treatments caused the volume in my hair to decrease by like 40%. Follow the directions on the bottle 💗

    • @IndigooceanOrg

      @@hairscriptsbybevy everything from Curlsmith makes my hair start coming out in handfuls next wash day. I've utterly given up on that brand. I think they have an unlisted ingredient that I'm allergic to. I've compared the ingredients in different products of theirs, and even when there's no overlap in what's listed, if I use anything from that brand my hair is coming out next wash day. Skip it, and normal hair shedding returns. Thankfully there are plenty of other options for me to forego that one.

    How often can K18 be used so it doesn’t overload your hair? My bleached hair is extremely dry and damaged and so far Olaplex is the only thing that has made a difference but I would like to try k18.

    • @hairscriptsbybevy
      @hairscriptsbybevy  Рік тому

      Right now there is no need to worry about overload. K18 works well for damage as well and you can combine the two !!! Just toss in a hydrating masks in between washes to balance out strength and conditioning and your hair will
      Flourish and be fine

    • @CherryBerry383

      4-6 consecutive uses for damaged hair when you use the product for the first time. After that, k18 suggests only once a month for maintenance

      If you’re protein sensitive just remember that the bonds that they are repairing are basically protein bonds.

    Any tips for hair growing thicker on one side versus the other side? You’re my new hair guru since by breakup😞

    • @hairscriptsbybevy
      @hairscriptsbybevy  Рік тому

      I’m sorry about your break up Jiggy94 their loss. There’s so many reasons I have to say to go see a dermatologist so they can give you a scalp evaluation it’s usually covered by your insurance. There could be many reasons why your hair is doing this but if you’re overall healthy with no underlying conditions or alopecia diagnosis you’re aware of - over the counter monistat cream could work for you it’s an Antifungal that can help treat any overgrowth of bacteria and or yeast and if your scalp is itchy use hydrocortisone cream it’s a low grade steroid that would mitigate your inflammation and help you with some growth - you’re welcome ☺️
