E-file VS Manual Nail Prep | Natural Nail Tutorial

Hi everyone
Today we’ve got Sham in today and we’re doing salon prep on her hands to make them nice and professional for her.
I’m going to do one hand with m y e-file and one hand manually just to show the difference and to include everyone without an e-file license (or an e-file). I’m going to start with my e-file hand, using my cuticle bit to push back the cuticles, a proximal-fold bit to exfoliate the non-living tissue, file the free edge, and then using a ceramic sanding band to key the nail ready for application and remove the rest of the non-living tissue from the nail.
On the manual hand I’m going to use a cuticle pusher to push back the cuticles gently, and then a cuticle knife to remove the non-living tissue. I’m also going to use scissors, or you could use cuticle nippers, on the non-living tissue before using a 240 grit file on to key the nail and then a buffer. I’m going to file the free edge with a 240 grit file to make it all nice and smooth.
On both hands, I’m going to apply 1 coat base coat, 2 coats Ponyo and my top coat.
