Very awesome watch, my 8 years old Rangeman GW 9400 still works very fine and awesome and its battery has never gone low through this years and adventures. Can't wait to have my hands on this new GPR H1000!
the only real problem I would gues for this watch is the battery power, if it cant maintain power by itself for 2-3 weeks then its really hard to survive in the wild, the ABC sensors is all you really need to survive in the wild, this watch shares the same traits with the H2000, as alot of people complain regarding its battery life not being able to keep up by solar charge, I love my H1000, yes it does not have that much many feature, but man I love its battery life, unmatched, never have to charge again for more than 3years now, step tracking is enough for me to keep active, I dont need so much features if it cant keep up its battery after a month in thd wild
SOFTWARE UPDATE: Just an FYI that the GPR-H1000 received an update, which enables much faster satellite connection. Massive practical improvement. I'm so impressed with this piece, and it's usability now. IMHO, it's an issue that should've been addressed before release in that I believe damage was done to the reputation of both Casio and the Gshock/ Rangeman name. That said, this watch is now a complete workhorse for me. I love it.
It still takes easily a few minutes. I switched to the Garmin Instinct 2x Solar, now that's a watch with a reliable and fast GPS. Also much better features and UI. Especially for workouts, a Garmin is so much more useful.
@@GESGSHOCK well, your username does seem biased. I even tried on a beach. No trees or buildings. Took at least 1 minute, maybe 2. It's been a while. Garmin watches are much faster and accurate. I was a Gshock fanboy, but that's gone.
We need a true successor to the GPR-B1000. Don't need any fitness stuff. Just a classic ABC watch with Sun/Moon data + GPS. All I need is a tool for outdoor use. That's a Real Rangeman. This is a Rangeman wannabe.
@@pparmar40 True that. As a matter of fact, the GBD-H2000 also comes with a moon phase. Truth be told, this Rangeman doesn't make any sense at all. Alternatively, the could at least release a Pro Trek successor to the GPR-B1000 Rangeman.
I bought the GPR-H1000 Rangeman a week ago. I'm quite impressed because I need the sport features for my gym workouts and running sessions. The only disappointment for me is that the navigation feature has been removed from the Rangeman forever. This one should be named 'Trail Master' instead of 'Rangeman
Расскажите про то как он впивается в руку особенно когда куртка зимняя давит сверху В любом случаи мне нравятся мои gwg 2000и касио в целом но ни без изъянов

The design of the watch is amazing like something out of Dead Space video game but no mapping and navigation is pretty meh so i don't see the appeal over the competition.
Квадратный корпус и круглый дисплей🤨 дизайнер пьяный или что? Корпус в общем не то чего все ждали, хотел чего то более основательного наподобии новых mudmaster только вместо стрелок дисплей
I love the cinematic view

Hell yeah! Gshock over Apple Watch anyday!!!!!
The BEST Rangeman yet 👏🏻👏🏻
The beauty of Tenerife and the Teide volcano is breathtaking!
I wish I had this guy's job.
Do you hate your current job?
Me too brother!

Why won't the solar power make it last?
also an imp feature that it lacks is backtracking
If you don't use the heart rate all the time, the battery can last for months.
Totally agree,mate.
I wached this,and i have also gbd h 1000.
I was thinking why should i buy this for?
😁
I just got this exact watching yellow two days ago now I just need to make a trip to the Canary Islands so I can have fun with it

Agree aswell. Compared them and well.....as gshock fan, i'm staying with Garmin. Try again Casio.
Anything similar to GPR-B1000 for A to B Nav and back function?
Gotta' have the step tracker/distance meter though.
If you got stuck up that mountain and called for help then can you access your GPS coordinates ? If so how? Thanks
Is this step function is more accurate than GBD100?
I have GBD100 and for the step is like laggy or not too accurate perfectly.
The watch is great but you need to update it. Navigation should be essential in a Rangeman.
Why did Casio quietly axed the GPR-B series Rangeman?!? They are exceptional, can run on solar indefinite and tough as nails. I have one, I know
both have their weakness and strengths,
This one’s better, I had that 1
Does it have a map GPS if one gets lost?
It is all good, but if you do the shown trip...why do you need shock resist and "dirt protection"?
fancy adventure trip and showing the watch in cinematic way.
We are waiting for GWM 5610u with MIP, that's all...

Agree, its not a Rangeman. Went to buy and didnt. Will wait for Garmin 2024 range. Maybe next time Casio, but not this time.
No standalone navigation and a dreadfully inaccurate HR sensor. Kind of seems a bit of a pointless (and expensive) upgrade
We are waiting for mr-g rangeman
