I owned a RANGEMAN GPR-B1000, this watch is really a definition of tough from Casio. i don't think other G will reach this level of toughness not even MTG or MRG (at my best knowledge). The only drawback of this watch you can't customize much. Other than that i happy with my investment...Now it become rare item, now days quite a number of people asked me what GShock is this as a conversation starter... for younger sibling RANGEMAN GPR-H1000 is more suitable for tech junky but i kinda like it...maybe i will put it my line-up in some other time.

The differences are clear, choice is not. GPR-B1000 is discontinued and you are lucky to find it. GPR-B1000 is a Master of G series watch. It is an all-out survival watch, with standalone GPS navigation and tough solar so potentially it will never run out of juice. It will provide you with GPS navigation even when your phone is out of battery. GPR-H1000 on the other hand is just a health/fitness watch in a Rangeman's shell. It does not have standalone GPS navigation, and I am puzzled why Casio decided to remove the capability from a Rangeman. Most of the features are similar than in other Casio's fitness-centered watches that have been recently released. As a rugged timepiece in the wilderness, the older GPR-B1000 is still the ultimate Casio survival watch.
GPS function is good, not great but good. 1. Its not "on map" navi. So its give you hints where are u, and can point you to the direction of goal or point if you set it first. 2. While hiking a summits and whatnot, you need to use your brain, beacouse the lowest "spread" of the map is 2km. Easy to go off planned route. 3. In forests it is very good. no complains there. 4. Sometimes it loses the signal, why? idk. 5. Depends on the weather how long will the watch connect to the satellites, in heavy rain and thick clouds ur fucked, no signal 4u bud. 6. Keep to the old app, new one suck ass. 7. Solar works very good. Keep GPS alive, and when battery is low charges the watch good. In SHTF scenario its great. For what it is, it is great watch, new rangeman is more rugged smartwatch then a g-shock.

This is way out of comparison, you've missed out hell of differences such as glass (mineral vs sapphire), hart rate and oxigene sensor (and lack of it in B1000), gps naviation (and lack of it i H1000) and many others. You haven't even shown all the features for each model. Those 4 minutes is just a pure wast of time
it's a pity that the new Rangeman is not available in green color and carbon... I was also counting on a better and more accurate GPS independent of the phone... :/
I have both watches the Gpr b100 is huge and hard as nails. It's a stunning outdoor watch that exudes quality. The gpr h1000 is lighter, more comfortable for everyday use and has a huge range of functions that are easy to use. The quality is not the same as the Gprb1000. Theyre both great watches but they're different beasts. The GprH1000 is a great watch for use as a sports and smart watch that's a robust version of some other manufacturers modern sports watches. The Gpr B1000 is a real life beast of an outdoor watch. Both have their place, if I could only have one I'd have the Gprb100 as its stunning

@@kevins5845 my H doesn't have a scroll button. The buttons all rotate but scrolling is done with the buttons either side of the main button. The scrolling wheel on my B is perfect

Hi, nither the B nor H is a smart watch, I would call it hybrid: they give you some smart features, but not as many as true smart watch. On the other hand - you don't have to wear it all the time, to get the best out of them, which for me ia a huge plus, but not necesairly has to be for everyone.

hey! I love the Rangeman lineup. I have never heard of broken glass in B1000 as it is sap[hire, vs mineral in H1000. Yes, H1000 comes with more features, but you won't find p2p GPS navigation sitting in B1000. Personally - if you don't need BT and GPS - go for the first Rangeman, the 9400 - unbreakable, fast, and likely it will become a legend. Not as bulky as B/H1000, still significant. But stay out of negative display - it looks cool, but it is hard to read. cheers from Poland

I am debating selling the H and getting the apple watch ultra as my daily watch, then B I am absolutely keeping, the H and Apple Watch are just more practical as a daily watch. If I ever go on a mountain trip or in the woods or jungle, I’ll have the B with me😊
