Nice landing.........sure seems like a lot more planes are using runways 1L & 1R lately; when I come in from Houston it's always 25R (except once when it was 7R).
Very rare to see a 1R landing without the wind dictating it. I have only landed on 1L even once, as just about every other time into LAS its either 25L or 19R. 19R is my favorite one though.
@KRaZeDDoNuTz Actually KRaZe, I understand you live there, but I fly there VERY often. 25L is almost always for all arrivals, and 25R is almost always for departures depending on wind direction, which is what is the key to what runways are being used. 1L/19R and 1R/19L are used for arrivals and departures when wind direction dictates, or when there are exceptional heavy traffic loads to launch or recover during key periods of the day, in which case both 25 and 1 or 19 are used.
@covewatcher 7L is used a lot for departures in the summer due to the heat and high altitude. 7L is at ~2degree downward slope which helps with those hot and high departures in the summer.
As soon as the flight attendant opened the hatch, I'd grab my carry on and bolt out of the hatch, fly down the stairs and then just sprint across the tarmac at full cruising speed, my legs pumping like connecting rods towards the nearest casino, just vaulting roulette tables and slot machines until I found a perfect single deck blackjack table! Order a drink and then......let the gambling commence!!
Aaah gotta love that Las Vegas Approach. Hope you had a nice flight!

I used to live in Vegas, you can't gamble if you want to survive. There a slots in the airport, so they literally get you coming and going.
@KRaZeDDoNuTz 25R is usually for shorter flights and is not as crowded
it was a very nice ride
Looks like they are landing on either 19L or 19R when they called out 118.75.
what scenery is that? is it payware? Looks very real! What pc specs so you have?
@covewatcher Ok thank you I don't much about McCarran but everytime I fly into Vegas I usually land on 1L and 1R but thank you for the info. :)
@ChrisK529 1L and 1R are the main runways when planes are flying into or out of las vegas. i would know because i live in las vegas :)
Dennis Peet is it pretty much busy 24/7
The REAL thing my friend. I was on the jump seat and took this with my iPhone.
@Drysen yes, but the plane is a A320.

@unheilig666 i think there isn't any addon to see hands floating in the cockpit yet jajaja
Anyone else notice that the lenght of the video is 7:47? LOL
how did you manage to get in the cockpit to film this??? as im going to charlotte on vacation & would like to know as i am a flight sim enthusiast
19R You can see the strip off to the left. 1's it would be on the right. If it was the 25's it would be in front of them more or less.
i will land there at night someday hopefully! :)
Defiantly runway 01R judging by the heading selected 012. Plus he says 1R at 4:40
JetBlue
What airline is this?
Landing tomorrow night. See you soon Vegas
Yes, LAS....Runway 25L
Looks like 01L to me. The strip is off to the left side. If it was 25 it would be straight ahead
this was recorded using a wheelbarrow
70 million dollar aircraft shot with a 50 cent camera.
That's runway 1R cause its parallel 2 the strip
From JFK?
@unheilig666 i like my scenery to be 36-24-36 only if she's 5'3
Hecho con iPHONE
@julionica JetBlue
time 747
This is 1R...
@JetMech9x
This is a good reason not to buy an iphone.
