I did 100 u-turns a day for 30 days on the @BikesandBeards Police Harley, picked up from @The_Bearded_Mechanic and rode it 1000 miles home. After my previous u-turn challenges, I'll have reached the magic 10,000 u-turn number... let's see if I'm as good as motor police officers yet.

Doodles throttle therapy helped me after i lost my wife to covid in 2020. I often take her ashes out with me when i ride in a small screw down tube around my neck. In my mind we still get the sun and the wind in faces. Enough said! I still think you're an inspiration to anyone who wants to ride. Brilliant stuff girl 👍🤘.

It is the unspoken rule at the racetrack. Trackday riders do this quite a bit in my experience. You accept the offered ride with this unspoken rule. And this does not mean a payment plan $10 a month for life. It really helps when you have wrench turning proficiency. You’ll accept more offers with less anxiety. And lower out of pocket from things like.. clutch repairs..

I don't make videos but I have seen quite a few "how to's" and it is probably pretty easy. She would either use a go pro mounted in the same spot or a drone and then you just over lay the videos on top of each other. I know that is an extremely simplified way to explain it, but a lot of the times, it's way easier than people think it is.

You made great progress! HD clutches are stout but need to be adjusted correctly for long life. They need this much more often than other bikes due to design, weight of the machines, and high amount of torque available right off of idle. They are also picky about primary oil level.

Good job Doodle. Just keep this in mind, the same techniques you used on your smaller and lighter Triumph are the same you will use on the HD. I was a motor officer and went through the school years back. It will change your riding and you will truly enjoy riding if you stick with it and further hone the skills you will get by attending the motor officer's course. It's good you are practicing U-turns, but you will learn other things as well in the two-week block of instructions. If you take anything away from the school, remember this practice often, practice correct, practice constant. Also, if you haven't done it yet, they'll introduce you to an exercise called "brake and escape" or "brake and swerve", and threshold braking. These also need to be practiced regularly. They will save your bacon if the time comes when you need to use them.

OK, so I got dizzy while watching your circles. Didn't throw up either. So you figured out that practice is key. In the end when it fell over and you posed you demonstrated that you retained your silly. Good for you. So, how soon this Spring will you be allowed to compete or try out for a motor officer course? That I want to see. They are the best. I trust you'll succeed. I ordered a new HD Road Glide 2023 Fast Johnnie and then a police seat and then the guards for the bags and then the very expensive guard protectors just because you inspired me to do the same thing, practice and attempt to go ride with a motor officer testing group. Spring 2024 I will begin my 90 day riding in circles. Thanks a bunch Doodle.
