Hey, thank you so much for your tutorials. I seem to be having a problem, and I'm not sure it's due to different versions of blender though (I'm on 4.1.1). For some reason, when connecting the voronoi and the gradient to the mix color node, and setting it to 1, the whole cloud becomes invisible, and sometimes it only shows the effect on one small part of the cloud. I'm not sure what could be causing this. If I reverse the order of connection on the mix color node, it works, but the particles become very squareish. If you know what could be causing this, I'd be forever grateful, your tutorials are great and I'm very thankful for them. Thanks again! Also, what is the purpose of the plane? Edit I've been messing around a bit more, and it seems that when I resize the cloud and make it smaller, the effect works, but only on a small radius around the origin. @Kiiaro3D That's a great question! I think you may need a custom pluggin to import the geometry node setup into Unreal, but the textures and transparency maps can definitely be imported as image textures.
@ApurvaBhure Oh, all you would need to do is very gradually move them from one side, left or right, to the other. If you're going for the anime style, nearly all anime I've seen has only ever had clouds move from a right to left motion, or vice versa. It may break the illusion of 2D if you move these clouds closer or further away from the camera throughout an animation, which is why I recommend animating them perpendicular to the camera, moving on a clear horizontal line. I hope this helps 😄

@빵빵덕-v6p Yes, I do plan on making an updated clouds tutorial, as well as a tutorial bridging the changes between 4.1 and 4.2. But to help you now, in the same menu where the transparency settings used to be, make sure that Backface Culling is enabled for Camera, Shadow and Light Probe Volume. Then, scroll down a bit to enable Transparent Shadows if it isn't already, and then below that you will reach the option labeled "Render Method," and change it from Dithered to Blended. @rikovladimir8655 SAME, I've been scared of learning geometry nodes too, haha. But they actually open up so many more possibilities and make things a lot easier and faster! Maybe some day soon I can make a beginner's tutorial for geometry nodes to make it all feel easy and simple to learn 😄
cool! do you open like online class?? I would love to be your student hehe:)
@auliyanih Your comment means so much to me! I have been planning an online class for some time, now, and I hope to release it this year when it's done. I would love to have you as a student and share my blender knowledge with you!
P.S. I like your Ganyu profile picture :D
Me: "This will be an interesting watch" 😄
Video: "...delete everything in the viewport and set the measurements to imperial"

Me: "Oh, come on"
"change metric system to imperial"
eyo wtf
@ga1b_YT Hahaha, I'm American. It's just the system I was taught in school :P
@@ComfeeMug Yes, sorry. I sometimes forget that imperial is actually used in America. I recommend metric because of easier scaling and swapping units systems!
And good job with the clouds!

You are pronouncing Euler wrong. Sorry not be rude but as a math student I couldn't help!
@whatTheblue Oh, haha, I had no idea. There's a character named Eula in a game I used to play that had the "eu" pronounced the way I pronounced it in euler 😂 Just the point of reference for pronunciation I had at the time.
@@ComfeeMug I used to pronounce it like that till my teacher corrected me on front of the whole class 😅
Oh man, that must've felt awful 😬
@@ComfeeMug Nah not really, I was pretty shameless at that point 😅
