Great comparison. I had the whoop 3.0 when they upgraded to 4.0. We got the new device for free. I still feel like whoop is better bc as the ceo said, by focusing on the software and not the device we are encouraged to keep improving. If we don’t people stop subscribing. And since new technology is given to you for free, it takes a little of that cost away, as compared to buying a new device all the time. Whoop also has the feature of recording your workouts on video and having the stats on the screen, which is pretty cool if you post to social media. A feature no one else has.
@@a124as Thanks! You definitely bring up some good points. Since both current models have been out for a while now (Whoop 4.0 and Oura Ring Gen 3), it’s a good selling point for customers to know they’d be getting the upgrade for free with Whoop when that Whoop 5.0 does come. I never actually explored that activity feature you mentioned, but I’m sure that would be valuable to some people.
Great question! I just put out a video reviewing the Muse S (it's an EEG headband that works for meditation feedback and sleep tracking) and found the sleep data very promising. No subscription required for those features. As for other rings alternatives - I'm actually going to be testing a BUNCH of those over the next few months; because I really hate subscription fees.
Great comparison.

Awesome oura vs whoop comparison vid. I liked how you just got straight to the point. I’m leaning more towards the whoop
Thanks!
Great vid and sense of humor. The point about the sleep alarm on the whoop was something I didnt know. Thanks for this.
Thank you! 😁The sleep alarm is a pretty nice feature for sure
Yayyyy you said Ethiopia
Haha and the food was incredible! 😁
Wish all reviewers compare what can hardware and share software do instead of only list specifications
Did I show you what you wanted to see? Or did I miss something? 🙂
I like that I can track my strain across sets when I’m lifting with the whoop. Although it does require that you tinker with your phone.
Good point for sure!
Great video, thanks for the insight
Thanks!
hey, are there any other trackers without an subcription model, primaly to track the sleep?

Whoop got updates and tracks the steps now.
Thanks, that's good to know!
I won't one of both the whoop and oura
I think both is overkill! If anything, I'd get the whoop and a non-subscription Oura alternative.
