There has to be a baseline physical attractiveness for things to add on, but certain things can completely undo it for me. For example a 5/10 who dresses modestly, isn't an annoying gobshite feminist, has respect for herself and has respected herself in the past is infinitely more desireable to be than a 10/10 who slept with 10+ dudes and is posting lingerie pics on insta. But sadly I've never met a woman I'm deeply unattracted to who I've wanted to pursue anyhting more than friendship with, no matter how cool they are.

Try again. For males- Must be the degrading, non human 'mommy/maid/pornstar', to be his personal slave. Must be a '10' in all respects right down to hair, skin, nails, style of dress etc. Must not be stupid, but also not too smart to intimidate him, and also so she isn't smart enough to leave. Must be good at all domestic duties, and taking care of kids. Must be OK with him having affairs, and watching lots of porn. Must be OK with him spending all his time farting around, drinking beer, and getting a beer belly, and watching dumb sports, while she's slaving away. Must be OK with him dumping her after a few years of her slaving for him, only to find someone else even younger to do it for him all over again, leaving his ex destitute, even if she has kids.
What women want- A man who they individually find attractive, as this is completely subjective. We have free will, and want someone intelligent, kind, respects us, does his fair share of all housework, and childrearing without it being 'helping', loves us unconditionally, and they are a compatible, sharing values, and interests, as well as best friends. These are BASICS for any decent relationship. Men want a robotic slave, women want a human PARTNER.

She eventually got 3 masters and a PhD while being an executive. It was interesting seeing the faces of the ladies that competed with my wife in the profession world when they met me. One CNO, said "Oh that is just unfair" when I came into the room with a suit and tie on, the first time we met. She still hated my wife and they did Not get along.

Everything they discussed early on in the video is based on mental conditioning / indoctrinated belief systems. That's anything but natural. After that though, it's truly peculiar how accurate it is to the trends in society nowadays.
It's as if people tend to do things out of spite or jealousy just to seek out drama, not because they genuinely want something. No wonder why shite soap operas are so popular these days, a lot of people see themselves in that crud. Life imitates "art", "art" imitates life.

I think the desire to have sex with as many partners as possible is more of a male trait.
From what I've heard, male and female DNA is slightly different in that both our inherent goals are to procreate. Apparently for women this inspires the desire to find the strongest mate whilst it men, it is inspired to have as many partners as possible (giving us the best chance of our seed surviving).
Certainly this is one of the reasons men seem to prefer porn. Apparently it's the constant variety that triggers our mindset.
But yep, I've known many woman who have a strong sex drive but they still seem to prefer to keep that in the confines of relationships if not always long term.

Women in their 20s don’t find men in their 50s attractive, they prefer men in their age group. I am speaking as a woman in her 20s. Young women are disgusted by older men coming onto them. The average age gap is 2,5 years, not 15… When women say they prefer older men, we mean from a few years. For example, commenters here said the guy on the left in the thumbnail was just as attractive as the guy on the right if not moreso. I respectfully think that Dr. Hill's view doesn't cover everyone, and doesn't cover many circumstances. There are different types of attractions for different situations and times in life. Sometimes a spade is just a spade, and symmetry wins. I also think it is old school to paint men to only be concerned with physical aspects, while women are solely concerned about status. Men can also look past simple physical attraction, especially after they mature, and both girls and women are definitely capable of thinking a man is "hot" or not. Still, a very interesting topic of discussion with great points made.

    Dr Sarah Hill is great!
I have found in my psychology profession is that successfully women will choose a man who is more often less successfully. I do not know the exact reason why and this seems to be the case and it is just an assumption but a common theme I see is that these women seem to like submissive men similar to a puppy that do not challenge them.
One other comment I have, I see so many women who choose men based upon looks, get married and have kids. Then they realize that this person is a not a provider. I would say it seems some US ladies have a broken modulation as the doctor has mentioned. I would say that Dr Sarah Hill is saying what most people want in society but the divorce rate says otherwise.
I wanted to share another take on this and there was nothing wrong with what she said.

You’re attracted to people who look like yourself. The rating system is essentially b.s. that’s mainly designed to get you to buy something. I had generally terrible luck finding women until I dated women who have facial features similar to mine. An entire website was based on this called Find your face mate or something similar. This element of assumed familiarity brings about a sense of safeness between people, a common link. Figure out what your ‘other half’ would look like and seek them out. It’s an element of human nature that isn’t going away anytime soon, at its best it leads to amazing relationships even if the couple never realizes the reason why. At its worst it’s an element of human nature that drives things like racism and prejudice.
Say whatever you like about this comment, it’s true because I’ve lived it. Good luck out there!

All the ones I dated watched porn and were very judgemental about my body (even prior to a surgery I had to have), about women's bodies in general. It was horrid really. Now I'm out of a relationship with an abusive porn addict (who, even at 60 now, clearly prefers what's on the screen, and I'm sure you can image). I have a physical deformity (hidden to the public eye), and I just don't feel that I have ANY value in the "sexual marketplace" with things as they are, the increasing prevalence of porn..men being more "visual", having to fight off lust.. I give up! Staying single so I can have some peace and not be judged on my "specs" or lack thereof..
