Get a round dining table as you don't have a lot of room to play with. Will make it feel more spacious. I did the same and it both looks nice and is practical for smaller spaces.
Make sure the tester is the same finish as your other paint. They usually only come in one type of finish, and you may have selected a different finish for the paint you bought?

Oh yes! We did make sure we got the same finish, it would have been funny to see matte finish patches on a silk finished wall 😂😂
