Urrmmm of course because the piano contains every single note with linear increment steps and tone, making it very versatile. You can express any kind of emotion through it.
I stopped playing piano for about 20 years and your short videos are actually helping me getting back to play. Between work and family, there is no much time to study music . Your music channel is a blessing. Thanks
So far I used to play block chords but this little tutorial inspired me to start learning arpeggios as u make it so easy to learn. One can practice arpeggios with octaves and play some moody progressions.. I am ur devotee now.... Thanks, Sachin
You are a great teacher. I’m a 63 year old female retired teacher learning how to play music on my newly purchased Yamaha organ and I enjoy your lessons tremendously. Your lessons are easy to follow. Can’t thank you enough.🙏
I'm a TOTAL beginner on the piano (A friend lent me a Yamaha PSR-E443 3 days ago!) But I'm determined to learn. And luckily I found you on UA-cam. Thank you. You are a fantastic teacher! Very inspiring...making me believe that I can achieve proficiency. Your lessons are short and to the point; very good.
Pianote is the best so far ever since i started learning to play piano by myself a year ago. I play so many beautiful chords that my friends always wonder where i learnt them from. Thanks PIANOTE
Actually, I think, for me, this is the most interesting lesson I have seen from you so far: I instantly could hear what I usually play how it would sound in this style (can you call that ‘style’?!?) and it sounded so much more intense. Now I only have to figure out how to translate it from your lesson to my fingers into that sound I imagined... 😅 but looking forward to it! Thank you so much!
I like how you show the overhead view of the keyboard with the highlighted keys as you play them it really help's one to internalize the process and remember the notes.
Seriously, Before I started watching you I just read music, but now coming up with and playing around with music is a whole new level of fun I wouldn't of got to experience
I have watched a few of your videos now and I am so blown away by the quality of your teaching!! Ive been playing for over a decade and yet am learning so much from your videos so thank you! I’ve subscribed to make sure I get to see more of your content!
the more i watch your videos the more i am convinced that there's no need to enroll for a piano class again. thank you for being our virtual piano teacher. stay safe and healthy 😊❤️💐
Simple way of showing us these beautiful relationships between a basic triad and adding the accent enhancements that are filled with feeling and mood. So rich. I am excited to go play them, right now, so bye and thank you so much. I will be back in the near future to give you feed back on my personal experience:)
I'm extremely lucky to have found you Miss Witt. My piano playing has taken off like a rocket since I started viewing your lessons. You are the best in explaining these techniques
Hello and thank you again, your arpeggio lessons are very good, I have difficulty with the left hand, working your exercises that comes gradually, so continue to give arpeggio exercises that suits me.
Your demonstrations are inspiring me to sit at my piano and have fun, instead of practicing from sheet music!! Thank you!! I need to see the notes in red a little longer, to put them on paper, please, please, hold them in place a few seconds longer.
Why I didn't see this before. It's was really helpful and educating especially for beginners like me.. I'll be watching more of your post. Very well said. Simplified yet full..
This helps me because I need to learn improvisation. When I played in church ministry there were times when the minister would just say “play softly “ and I felt a little unsure of what I was doing and unprepared. Thank you for making this video.
Oh I get that! If you'd like some tips for playing in the background we have a lesson on that: ua-cam.com/video/0D10E5fCD8Q/v-deo.html It's perfect for a church service and sounds really beautiful!
Hanz zimmer is about simple melodies with mind blowing textures. Some of his songs are just two chords, but he spends millions in getting the timbre just right
This was something I needed, when I am practicing a song but gets too frustrated with it in between.....Thankyou so much and your positive energy and smile made it so wonderful!
Your videos are some of the best I've ever seen online and I watch a lot of music theory and piano videos. Well done. This is exactly my style and what I've been looking for!
Never stop learning to play the piano! Great, clear language, and above all, huge knowledge explaining the game in a simple way and on practical tips. Good job!
I played piano but got bored cuz I couldn't progress or learn something different..but thanks to u u make lessons so much fun..and ur voice is so soothing and comforting...
I love you and I've been playing since 4th grade since my freshman year in high school I haven't played with a teacher thank God for UA-cam and now I can teach myself and thank God for good teachers just like you I'm a cancer by the way so I'm very emotional and I lost my mom at a young age so I love playing piano in a way you can call venting I came across your video as I was scouting other piano videos I just want to say good job I love the way you teach you actually teach easier then the teachers that taught me in school I'm looking forward to your next video and I will make sure to pass this song to my fellow friends thank you for taking your time to teach God bless
This is fantastic! I love it when I find a video that's not too easy and not too hard, but exactly what I need at the moment. I'm going to be practicing these for hours!
Thank you for expanding my knowledge. I've always avoided chords because I didn't understand them etc...lol but you showed me how beautiful they can be no matter the mood. I find myself being more creative with them. Thank you
Another great thing for practicing fingers dexterity while listening to a wonderful music. Even though at beginner level, had to try this immediately, and it works great, with occasional mistakes. The fourth one I couldn't play nearly as fast with single hand, but with both hands I can do it fast and easily switch from A to F to G to E scale. These may great tips for professionals who want to enrich their performance, but for beginners, this is gaining skill just by doing it by making you sound like playing a wonderful piece at the same time. Thank you. Love your videos.
Thank you. I've been stumbling around in these scales moving by ear not knowing what I'm doing. You've brought some clarity. Now maybe I won't have to do a hundred takes to get a finished piece. Maybe it will be only fifty.
I am absolutely LOVING this channel. Thank you for the amazing lessons and CLEAR explanations. WONDERFUL. You are going to help my writing so much. Thank you.
You are such a good teacher. You have a way of explaining things that really works for me. This lesson looks like a lot of fun. Also I went to your website and studied the circle of fifths which has always eluded me. But your explanation of it finally got me to understand it and now I see why it's important. No one else has been able to explain it so well. Thank you!
I play the piano at my church and I've kind of run out of ways to set the mood. This gave me some more ideas, thank you! What I rely on the most is just playing at the intensity of whoever is singing or speaking. I sometimes pick the first chord in the progression that I'm playing and kind of mess with the notes in that scale while playing the other chords, if that makes sense.
