Your video and every other chainsaw adjustment video I saw is missing some very important information especially for new chainsaw users. My chain was not tightening following your instructions. I took off the cover the chain and the bar. I found that when I turned the screw to tighten the chain there's a little button that has to go in the chain bar. If that button is not inside the little hole in the bar nothing happens when you turn the screw. This is a very important update for your video and all other videos because you were assuming we know that but first time chainsaw users do not. Thank you very much for the video

I have been trying to tighten the chain on my CS590. I have been using it and with at least 4 chain changes and bar reversals. So all was good after about 15-20 hours of use over the past year.
Now... it appears the guide screw the tension pin rides on is not riding along the screw but rather back and forth in a fixed position. Think of a half-circle motion. Is something jammed? Replace tension pin?
