    Still useful! Thanks so much for not deleting. MySRM-230 still runs like a champ and I still need the references to maintain it. A testimony to Echo durability. Again, thanks so much. ❤

    This thing is a pain in the butt. I hate this thing. After 20 years of use I got tired of carrying needle nose pliers and stopping everytime it breaks. And put the original bump head back on and WOW it’s so much easier faster with no downtime.

    I have the bigger container with the little container attached to it that you squeeze and it has 3.2oz on there for some unknown reason and thats too much and I cant figure out how to drain some out of there without just pouring it out.

    I know this video is quite old but just wanted to know how it’s holding up i think I’m more like yourself i really just came about the reliability as the SRM-225 had let me down after only 5 months and yes i mow commercial and so I figured i might need the 2620T for better reliability. Hope to hear back from you! Great video btw!🪃

      The video is not old its just a yr old. I just bought one today and I am home owner with a 12000 sq. ft. lawn. The thing is I have sections in my lawn that is bush and the SRM 225 that I just sold sometimes struggle. We will see . I also bought it to kill English Ivy which has taken over sections of my lawn. I don't have the strength to bend over and remove the English Ivy by hand. Also I cant use Triclopyr which is best for removing English Ivy because it will also kill my forsythia

    I've had many, many chainsaws in my lifetime, and the Echo is by far the best. Mainly, because it's the easiest to start! Today, I used my Echo 352 16" chainsaw after letting it sit for 3 years. I put in gas/oil mixture, bar chain oil, primed it a couple times, and it started on 2nd pull! I've had more expensive, name brand chainsaws before that wouldn't start no matter what I did. I'm so glad I found out about the Echo chainsaw, and you should too!

    I have been trying to tighten the chain on my CS590. I have been using it and with at least 4 chain changes and bar reversals. So all was good after about 15-20 hours of use over the past year. Now... it appears the guide screw the tension pin rides on is not riding along the screw but rather back and forth in a fixed position. Think of a half-circle motion. Is something jammed? Replace tension pin?

  • @mccglastron1972
    @mccglastron1972 2 роки тому

    Hmm, my manual cold start says something different... doesn't say move the choke lever after the "burp".. I must have been flooding it... I will try this and hope it works better cause now I'm NOT happy, lol. My manual also says push that little bulb pump 8X's not 5-6... Yep! I push the bulb 5x's... 8x's is flooding it. So this guy's procedure works perfectly! That's crazy that the manual's starting procedure makes the product look bad... ya'll really need to correct that... works perfectly now.

  • @mccglastron1972
    @mccglastron1972 2 роки тому

    Ha, you can see the little gas can leaks! I bought "No Spill" brand from Home Depot... they appear to work very well!

  • @mccglastron1972
    @mccglastron1972 2 роки тому

    Well mine is NOT that easy to start that's why I'm looking for the vid that shows me what I'm doing wrong... I followed what is says in the manual. It might be that easy after it's already been started, but I start it and don't turn it off till I'm done so the only time I've done that is when I run out of gas...

  • @mccglastron1972
    @mccglastron1972 2 роки тому

    This vid is old... I bought the nice little 2.6oz echo oil that has stabilizer in it so it will last all summer... much easier. And I dumped the oil in the 1gal container at the gas station, then filled watching the pump till it was 1gal... that's the easiest way.
