A college student accuses Kelly of leading him on at a Halloween party and attacks her. #BeverlyHills90210 | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/90210
When it happened to me 30 years ago, no classmate came to my rescue, the school blamed me and my attacker got away with it. I thus wasn't allowed to report it to police.
Kelly and Steve did date in the past. I'm not sure which season\episodes, but in the 1st 4 seasons, there were some episodes about Steve and Kelly. Steve, just like every man, comes to the realization he is deeply in love with Kelly. Just another blip to fill the episodes with as much drama as possible.lol 😆
@@prasad9002 It doesn't make it a fair reason but it's a psychological one - I think the reason no one said anything about Donna's dress was because mermaids are not supposed to have anything up top, so wearing a bra was an upgrade, for lack of a better word.
This is very old fashion. Today women in the US are strong and independent and can handle their own problems and would have not need to call for the help of men, especially when it's three on one ...... wait?
Yes he did. I love how Brenda and Donna casually enter the room giggling, then start excusing themselves because Kelly CLEARLY wasn't calling for help/struggling, etc. And once Kelly stands up with her clothes torn off, crying, makeup running, desperately trying to get closer to her friends and away from the douche, Brenda asks in bewilderment, "Kelly what's wrong??" What the hell do you think Brenda? Gesch that was some cringe writing right there.
This was very ahead of it's time, and I appreciate the message that they were getting across. It doesn't matter what a woman, or man decides to wear, or even if they are into you at first, from the moment they are uncomfortable, and say no that is the end of it. A person deserves to make their own choices and you should never try to infringe upon that no matter what.
@@spookmagooked3017It’s okay to say a dress is a little too much while also acknowledging that doesn’t matter when it comes to consent. If I saw someone walk around town naked I’d tell them they’re doing too much but that doesn’t mean I think they deserve to be violated or attacked in any way.
People, especially the young, dress in ways that bring attention to themselves. Unfortunately some times that attention is the wrong kind. Does that mean someone has a right to hurt them? Of course not, no sane person would think so. But there are a ton of unstable and emotionally damaged people walking around today - more so now than then. What we wear certainly does matter. While it doesn't justify wrong-doing, it can be the difference between good and bad attention.
Yes but Donna wasn’t talking sexy and going into a room with a guy she doesn’t know at a party. Kelly always wanted attention from men. That’s why she stole Dylan from her best friend.

Looks like her hair got caught under Kelly’s arm and Brenda was hugging the hair while trying to console Kelly. You can see Shannen laugh cause Donna is stuck 😂😂😂. Probably had a crick in her neck after this scene.
That's because she was a terrible actress, the only reason she got the job as Donna was because her dad was the producer of the show. Her acting got better as the show progressed.
That was part of the characters. They’re shallow spoiled selfish brats who don’t care about each other. Brenda was the light and heart of the gang. The Walsh family came in to juxtapose a caring family bs shallow Beverly Hills. Donna didn’t care about Brenda when Kelly started dating Dylan. None of them cared. Brenda was the only one who cared about her so called “friends.”
I am a Brenda and Dylan fan. But I felt so bad for Kelly in this scene. Steve was a real hero and he really seemed to love her too bad their relationship didn't work out.

looking at your PFP i must say i am NOT shocked by your not liking anything that would cast any blame a woman's way in anything. I bet you would be one of the ones accusing Steve of rape when he had that lauren fiasco 2 years later
The excuse men use that it's the way a woman dresses is completely crap because I have heard stories of nun's getting assaulted so it's absolutely not about that it's the power that men think they exhert over women that's all it is
The average rape victim is wearing jeans, a sweatshirt and sneakers we were told as far back as the 1980s. It’s not about what someone is wearing it’s about control for the attacker.
I love how Tori indicated to Shannen with a look and a movement of her head that she couldn't move her head because of the caught wig and Shannen lost it for a second and laughed.
" NO" means "N0" I don't care what Kelly was wearing. That guy didn't have any right to attack her like that. Unfortunately, in real life this happens to alot of girls and young women.

The fact that Kelly is standing there crying with her dress all torn with her best friends and it's still "he said, she said" until Kelly proves she was attacked by telling Brenda that he locked the door and Brenda seeing that the door was really locked - shows just how much women are NOT believed in these situations and how much they have to prove to even their best friends that an assault took place.
Because Kelly has a bad reputation. And she made it obvious that she wants to get lucky. Plus she was the one who approached the guy. So they had shared time believing her. I'm not saying it was right. Just saying it's hard to believe some people. So quick.
