Sick riffs dude, drop A# is one of the best tunings for heavy shit

That kick is BEEFY, very much needed when you're tuned this inhumanly low, love the riffs

Sick track + this sounds HUGE!! I'm jealous of your mix, i'm pretty new to recording and mixing and i have no clue how to make my guitar and bass/drums plug-ins sound like that, +1 sub :)
I'll make it up to you and the others who want guidance should you wish for that. Thank you and welcome bro! :)
yeah man, definitely do a tutorial for this one! sick
Was about ask what snare sample you’re using only to see we use the same one 😂 sick riff and composition dude
Haha, GGD doesn’t disappoint 😅 thank you bro! 👊🏻
Are you layering another snare/trigger with the warbird? Been obsessed with this mix and can’t seem to get that dodgeball pop resonance.
@@JokerzWyld yeah I've layered 3 samples on the snare. I've used the snare top (for bite and sustain), snare sample for top end slap (eq processed) and another snare sample that is low tuned I've gated it and also eq processed it to make that dodgeball pop sound before they are sent through the snare bus.
If you find that it is lacking more punch, put an eq in the snare bus and bell it up a bit around 180-220hz wherever the sweet spot is at and use a transient designer to increase a bit more attack. Hope this helps!
Wait so... did you tune the whole guitar up a half-tone then drop the (now) low C to get drop A#? ::stares in confused 7-string::
It's just drop A# using strings between 58-11 7 string set I believe. However, it can be drop tuned using a digitech drop tune pedal or neural dsp archetype gojira with an integrated whammy pedal sim
I could put lyrics to something like this 😂 holy shIt good work though 🫶🏼🤘🏼
Go for it if you wish haha, thank you man!
this sounds like metalcore???? isnt this just metalcore?
deathcore would....be a bit slower and heavier right? like distant or immortal disfigurement?
The line between the two is kinda blurry, especially when it comes to instrumentals. I normally distinguish the two by the vocals; metalcore usually has less dirty lows and more cleans in the chorus while deathcore usually has no clean vocals and a lot more emphasis on lows. Most people would call Infant Annihilator deathcore but they're fast as all hell.
It is argued whether its metalcore or deathcore. Like he mentioned above, there's no cleans in deathcore and the guitar tones are more dirtier with lots of low end information. So arguably I believe it is considered deathcore, hence the title of the video. I'm aware of bands like Distant, they're a deathcore downtempo band.
I just got the dodge ball reference 😂 took me a few minutes of remembering grade school, then it hit me. 😊
Imagine having dodge balls in moshpits at gigs 😅
