Doing a 140cc kit will massively help you out. Usually those kits have a spacer in on top of your headgasket. This will increase volume but since the piston will not reach this volume the compression will be lower. This can then be replaced with BOOST. Let's hope just the chain broke and not catastrophic damage. Love the vids, keep it up Mike!
@@itsmikelakelook upto honda c50/honda glx /honda astrea 100 parts at greece we have bunch of upgrade parts for this engine you can contact some greek tuningteams
If you end up grenading that engine again, make sure you buy a YX140, they have all the same bolt holes and mounting dimensions so itll bolt right up. Cheap, already makes 14hp, one of the toughest pitbike engines on the market. Insanely cheap upgrades like a race z40 cam ($50)... The list of benefits go on. A yx140 would absolutely eat up the boost. None the less, keen to see what a rebuild and modifications can do.
That oil cooler plate tou used actually takes oil that usually goes to the cam so by bypassing it back to the oil fill spot like you did In one of your other videos you most likely ran your cam dry, better off running a separate tank and 12v pump to feed the turbo
Your drift kart engine is basically a honda c series moped engine. It been used in honda wave, ex-5, astrea prima, etc. The engine it self have a good potential just with a port job, mild cam, springs and retainers.👍 I once have a bike with that engine (97cc version), it feels freakin slow so I asked my local bike shop to upgrade it with a 53mm kawasaki piston, resleeved block, a ported head with a redone combustion chamber area to accommodate bigger piston, copper head gasket, regrind cam, swedian valve springs (probably fake lol), stock retainers, stock valves (22mm intake, 19mm exhaust), a stock 24mm carb from yamaha 2 stroke moped (vs 18mm stock), aftermarket exhaust, stock rod and crank (49.5mm stroke), auto to manual clutch conversion kit, a suzuki cdi with higher rpm limit but still stock iginition timing, stock coil, lower final drive ratio, and many more. All that bullcrap just to get chopped by an old rusted sleeper vespa! Dang it!🤣 Good luck Mike!🔥
Big bore kit with 2 or 3 gaskets under the bore ( jug ) will work perfectly to archive less compression. Putting 2 head gaskets might have more chance of leaking. Also bore gaskets have less thickness than head gasket so you can adjust compression without spacing bore and head too much. With too much spacing it will be hard or impossible to install timing chain. Hope this helps. ❤
Do a simple watermeth injection; get a windshield wiper tank with pump built in and put the sprayer right in front of the turbo and use the micro squirt to activate the pump at boost. Add lil nitrous, or try a fresh air anitlag or rocket exhaust. The last 3 are for s&g
I think this was such a blessing in disguise and YAY for even more awesome content! Can't wait till you drop a ZX14 motor in it, hahaha! Sundays are best for two things... Can you guess what they are?
i dynoed a 150cc motorbike (videos on my channel sorry for the plug) with a high lift cam and 30mm carb it made around 11.7/11.9 bhp i think you will be around that power with it still a great build cant wait to see it finished
YESS, PORTING! Taken the info I learnt about the basic 200cc "lawnmower style" engines, they are pretty meaty with bunch of headroom for porting! :) hope that's the case for that engine aswell 😍
that big bore kit with a bigger carb with bigger jets will be mint. stiffer valve springs for holding the boost in that big bore with that porting your talking about but that should hold so much more boost..
Glad to see u have sponsors now 🎉❤ I remember back in the day. The bmw m40 with the pit in the Garage. And your daily was a 2 door car. I always thought this guy cool a.f with that 2 door car. But it's u that built Cool cars 😎
Those engine are based on honda c70 to c100 moped engine. For the big bore budged, maybe you could look for zongsheng 190 5 speed engine, wich is china copy 2 valve version of daytona anima 190
well lets hope that the valves head and piston didnt become one 😅. Ive also seen some bigvalve heads you could use to flow better. You can also get intake manifolds that dont have that stupid restrictive bend in them for really cheap so id say you should get one of thoose.
I’m building a 250 turbo racing mower but I’m stuck in the wiring and how to hook both cdis up and the magneto to the ecu for the efi kit, could you do a full wiring vid on your wiring for the drift kart
Absolutely awesome!!! You’ve inspired me to build a custom undertail exhaust for my XR150L. Tuning the carb using a wideband after a big bore kit, cam, bigger carb, and now exhaust. Would be so rad if you checked out the video on my channel. Just a couple of shorts for now. I need to get an action camera like the one in this video.👍
Lower the sprocket ratio..stock 125cc engine ratio usually comes with 2.57..so its best to start with 15t upfront and 33t-30t back sprocket so 2.2 and lower ratio to keep it from redlining too much...im from malaysia so im used to working on those type of small cc engine from 100cc to 150cc..aftermarket heads and and cams and block would probably be a good idea too...if you're seriously bout getting more high end power on those engine I'd suggest make the exhaust manifold smaller like 28mm the limit is 30mm...and needs a back pressure too...the engine look more like an honda engine so i guess its running 55mm piston..ive built that engine alot so id usually build it with 56mm piston with highcammed on 24mm(exit)28mm(intake) cylinder head..and im making like 14-ish horsepower
don't forget the stronger valve springs, Valves & retainers. and Maybe a genuine Honda Chain rather than the low cost Chinese one that comes in the engine. I'm half pie expecting a fully custom drift trike born out of the knowledge learned here... all chopper style, forward controls, Ape hangers etc. The question is... who will donate their old dirt bike for the project? (or GSX250R that they dropped learning how to do U turns in a Carpark)
should buy a 140, 160 or a 190 zongshen engine they can handle more abuse than other ones there pitbike engines and there cheaper than a big bore kit the 140cc zongchen makes ab 13 to 15hp and the 190cc makes ab 19 to 22hp with a carburator we use these small engines even the 50cc alot here in belguim from dax clones to even honda groms and daytona a japanese engine maker uses thhe zongchen as the base they just put bigger valves in it and a different gearing
Go to blygo and get your self a Daytona 190cc and thay have a bigger head witch makes it a 212cc pit bike motor and it has 22hp there. Fast asf get one of them motors please and then turbo it A Ktm 300cc had 25 hp get the Daytona motor I promise you won’t be disappointed
You can't use a turbo on that engine..if you want to be faster, change the headblock with pistons...use 57mm is enough and change the ecu once because it has been changed to a fi, right?
@@itsmikelake .Yes, I know but if you want the turbo to be more efficient..I suggest to modify the block and piston to be better...I have a motorcycle that uses the same engine as yours

That’s exactly what I’m aiming for! I’m actually really excited to throw the big bore kit on. Thanks for the info and kind words bro! 👊🏻
Throw a z40 cam on it too

Suprised the number was that low for a 4 stroke 125 n/a but still good to see it made power weldone. Can’t wait for the next video

Haha don’t worry it didn’t do anything bad!

awesome video. happy to see where this project has come!

Make sure you do a good ring gap so there isn’t much compression
at the end u might put a massive radiator fan right infront of the cart
you forgot to put the 'boost' plate on
