@@DraculasHeadOnPike See thats the thing about confidence ,the only person who knows whether you are confident or not is you , if you think of your self as a confident person then you are one,Its like a choice you have to make yk. You just wake up and say youre confident you are confident. Confidence isn't something anyone is born with its just a choice you make

@@DraculasHeadOnPikethe phrase “fake it till you make it” actually works when working on your confidence. Once it’s been a while doing things again and again and again, you will notice you’ve been gaining confidence in that thing, and by consecuence, you will start being more confident.

Honestly I do not know what question to ask so heres a warrior's advice: Power comes in response to a need, not a desire. You have you create that need, not wait for it. You don't want it, You need it. (reply to it how ever you please, I'm curious what you all will reply to a statement as such.)

(Power comes in response to a need, not a desire)- if you want to achive something like muscular body, to be good academicly, to have a good relationship.its takes power to achive it, not by just desireing it must be backed up with action. (you have you creat that need, not to wait for it)-the need is created by desire, the need can be anything which is created by you then again it is backed up by taking action. (you don't want it,you need it.)-it is not something that you will be fine with out it, you have to be it.

    (17) I don't know how to handle my situation with my old friends. I realize that I don't want to do what they're doing anymore, hanging out till 2am on discord playing games, some out partying and drinking, etc etc... i've kind of just been slowly drifting, spending more time alone working on myself or sometimes in genuine interactions with company I enjoy (new friends: we play music together, box, gym, sports, etc...). My current plan is to just still be kind when we see each other but not really participate in those late nights anymore. Its not the lifestyle i'm looking for and i've been a lot happier and fulfilled this way. If anyone has any pointers that'd be great, thanks.

Go to libraries, restaurants, gyms, and don't force friendship let it come to you. Dont expect it to happen overnight either, and don't be afraid to initiate going out with people. To be completely honest the best answer is to not do anything. What I mean by that is quite literally to not distract yourself or rush into anything I would take time and reflect upon myself and what it is I wanted to work towards. Write stuff down, keep track of thoughts you have often. For example you might keep thinking about a certain experience when left to your own thoughts and that might be one of the things holding you back. In essence, my advice is to take the time to really understand yourself and the direction you want your life to go in. I can understand how daunting of a task that is though so I will tell you now you don't have to get a perfect answer just enough vague ones to get started.

I have 4 years left of puberty, if I'm lucky. I feel like the pieces are coming apart day after day, and I keep trying to pull myself together and put an effort on the puzzle. But as the days pass by, putting an effort, making progress on that puzzle piece gets harder and harder, and its this compounding effect that I feel I have no control over.
I'm almost 15, I've been making efforts for self improvement since I was 12. I'm in the worst position of my life so far in terms of mental health, I don't expect for that to change. My whole life I've been incompetent at everything I've touched, and so I never pursued anything. Not friends, not hobbies, not even my studies; the supposed purpose of my teenage years. I'm behind my peers to an unimaginable degree. How do I flip this on its head.
How do I get out of this, this desire to break free has lingered despite my bad condition. To give you a bit of context, and a couple things you may find useful, when answering my question: I have a grand total of 1 friend. He's a self improvement guru, he's maxxed out every millisecond of his time ever since he was 12. He has an incredible physique, training and seeing tangible results in his attempt to be an MMA fighter. He's intelligent, manages his time, can work endlessly, Top band grades. -Dis-appointed parents. Although he isn't the most empathetic guy, getting help from him is almost impossible as he puts maximizing his time over anything else, including helping a friend in need. Could I make use of this connection to help me get out of this rut?
I need help. Thank you for your time.

You could join in with whatever he’s doing, or just do it yourself. 15 years ago in school I struggled to connect with people, I only learned how to talk to people through my absent fathers way of talking to people.
Whenever I wanted to do something I’d just do it anyway, always offer others, but be the leader, even if you have no-one to lead, people will want to follow you if you’re going in good directions, bring them along.

See brother your comment literally explains your problem. If you've been on self improvement for 3 years and still feel like the way you do there's something wrong isn't it?I read your comment 3 times and you seem like an intelligent guy and an overthinker. On what terms you think you're behind your peers in an unimaginable degree? Your one friend who aspire to be an MMA fighter, do you have the same goal in your mind? If you can answer these 2 questions I can give you some good advice with what I know

      Here's the CURE :
      1. maximize your biology. YOUR PHYSICAL STATE DIRECTLY EFFECTS YOUR MENTAL STATE.
      a. Cut out garbage food. Don't eat fast food or ultra processed food (food with 1 trillion ingredients). Eat simple foods like meat, fruits, vegetables eggs etc.
      b. Workout Everyday. Plenty of guides online. Pushups, running, squats is a good place to start.
      c. FIX YOUR SLEEP. Wake up at a certain time. And sleep at a certain time
      2. Read & Write.
      a. Reading enriches you with the experiences of others allowing you to learn much faster than those before you and currently those around you. You can literally choose your peers, your mentors can be some of the greatest people to have ever lived.
b .Writing is quite literally, thinking. Write about anything. What you think about teachers. What you think about yourself. What you think about the efficiency of the criminal justice system. Literally anything, and it WILL make you SHARPER
      3. QUIT FEELING SORRY FOR YOURSELF
Quite honestly my friend, you speak very pathetically. Do you notice what you're even saying to yourself?
      a. "I don't expect for that to change" WEAK :
You're are literally telling yourself "I WANT TO LOSE". Never speak to yourself this way. Catch yourself next time. Force yourself to think and speak like a winner. No longer LISTEN to yourself. from now on you will NARRATE to yourself who you want to be.
      b. "My whole life I've been incompetent at everything I've touched, and so I never pursued anything" WEAK:
"I've been a loser my entire life, so I continued to be a loser" ??????????.
Be stronger an refer to 3a
      c. "Could I make use of this connection to help me get out of this rut?" W E A K:
"I'm a loser so should I beg the only winner in my life to help me?!"
Two things to say on this. One, this is pathetic, you already know what to do, you're just to scared to do it. Your pretending like he's gonna share some secret sauce that makes everything easier, and BOOM, you get everything you want!!! . . . . . WAKE UP TO REALITY . . . . . EAT PAIN AND PROSPER
Two, everyone hates a needy person. I have cutout many people in my life ruthelesly (but respectfully), the always weak, the always needy, the always complaining, the always depressed. The simply hindered me. I had a friend ask me in a sad tone, he said "why don't you hang out with any of the boys anymore?" I said "You are my child hood friend and I will always remember you, but I am going to become LEGENDARY, not decent, not good, not great, but LEGENDARY. If you want to be someone who is frequently around me on my ascension, then you must be my equal or greater. Anything else will diminish my spirit. and that is UNACCEPTABLE." He looked at me like I was insane. Is what it is. No hate against him, still has a place in my heart. But he's not on my same wave length.
My friend to be the friends with the strong you must become strong. Learn to carry your weight.
      4. Social media
      a. No tiktok or IG. Obvious reasons if your IQ isn't tanked.
      b. Don't listen to shitty music that either makes you stupid or sad/depressed. IT IS POISONING YOUR BRAIN.
      5. "How do I get out of this, this desire to break free has lingered despite my bad condition"
Quit lying to yourself. You know what you needed to do. You don't desire to break free. You desire to for the world to become easier. You pray the magically one day will come where everything will become easy. You pray that the pain simply stop . . . Coward
      THE ONLY WAY IS THROUGH
The world will not become easier
      You must become stronger
Will you be that flame who refuses to be consumed by the darkness?
Will you rebel by burning with fury pain & rage?
Or you will you go quietly into the darkness?

I also have the impression that you cannot focus on everything all at ones and be succesful at them. In my opinion, if there's a priority like making money, you should mainly focus on that and neglect lesser important aspects for some time. That's what all of those entrepreneurs do as well. 16 hour days for a few years until they reach 7 figure revenues. They then start focusing on the other aspects more, because they can outsource large parts of their business.

YOU have to unlock your full potential, it would be a shame to your bloodline if you didn't..
I don't know if you'll understand the weight behind this, but.

All because you never gave up
your actions will have a positive effect on your life and generations down the line
      Stay true to yourself

Prioritize engaging in activities you genuinely enjoy, focusing on the journey rather than solely on the destination. Otherwise, you're likely to experience constant stress without seeing real progress.
Had I grasped this concept a year ago, I could have avoided a year of futilely chasing outcomes, which only resulted in stress and ingratitude. I failed to recognize the blessings in my life. Now, I see the value in my current circumstances and am beginning to enjoy my life, slowly transforming into the person who effortlessly attracts the life I desire. This change has significantly simplified and enriched my life, making it happier and more fulfilling. It's astonishing how much improvement comes from accepting my life as it is and pursuing what I truly want.
It's crucial, however, to distinguish between genuinely fulfilling activities and short-term indulgences like lounging around, using substances, or eating junk food. If you're inclined towards these habits, it might be time to explore positive routines, discover more about yourself, build discipline, and find what truly excites you. Once you uncover these passions, the appeal of wasteful activities diminishes because you'd rather spend your time engaging in meaningful pursuits.
For instance, despite hearing the benefits of gym workouts, I never enjoyed them, mistakenly believing they were the sole path to fitness. This pursuit of immediate results, without enjoying the process, left me stressed and drained. Eventually, I discovered my love for calisthenics, which I engage in purely for the joy it brings. Removing the pressure to achieve specific outcomes has allowed me to cherish the process, focusing less on results and more on my passion, which I can't imagine living without.

We like being lazy. And asking these questions are a lazy way to feel like we're going somewhere without actually going somewhere.
We decide what we want to do, any time of the day. Even if we're "exhausted" we still have the option to decide and choose. And so, if you know what you should be doing, just do it, instead of overcomplicating and turning it into some stupid philosophy.
It's hard yes, I slack sometimes yes, but realize that it's always within your control.
I wanna say 3 interesting and helpful things though:
      1. Make your goals visible through writing them down and adjust what you should be doing and when in order to achieve your goals. This helps clean things up in your head and help you focus
      2. Doing hard things regularly increases the size of something in your brain, I dont know the name of it, which is responsible for doing hard things, and when you stop doing them, after a day or two it starts shrinking again, so momentum is a big thing, once you start do not stop, or else you'll feel hard things become hard again
      3. Develop a character in which you have no other choice other than do what you gotta do.
For example, which is a really weird experience of mine. Right before I went to bed I read a book in which the main character is very disciplined. When I woke up somehow my mind tricked me into thinking that I was him for a solid 2-3 seconds and instead of staying in bed I fucking jumped out of it thinking that this is who I am and what I should be doing.
Don't give yourself other choices, you can't stay in bed, you can't skip the gym, you just do it.

The answers you have received, despite the good intentions, probably didn't do much for you(correct me if I'm wrong). Taking risks and overcoming (fear of) failure are no easy things to learn, and thus it will take time and energy. The first step is to accept that, and to realize it is gonna take a while. Play the long game. Eventually, it will all become second nature.
For now, let's return to the core of your problem. Your thoughts seem to be quite chaotic and unorganized. Since your situation is not specified, it's a bit harder to know what's going on exactly, so take this with a grain of salt.
My recommendation for you is to watch either some David Goggings OR Julienhimself videos (they are quite the opposite, so make a choice) and see what happens. Other people you could check out are Jordan Peterson(old content!), Gabor Maté, Better Ideas or even Tristan Tate lol.
These last ones should come with a warning. They might become a source of distraction and confusion. But from my impression you don't have too much to lose at this point. It's still better to binge on productivity UA-cam videos than God knows what..

I’ve been existent on this world for long enough for me to know that everyone lives are different in a unique way, but everyday when we walk past a person we don’t know, we somehow feel connected, but we take it for granted and never said anything to that person like “if I don’t see you again live a good life” or something like that, there’s just so many people in this world and personally if I don’t see them again in life it just feels so darned awkward. Because that person could be your future lover, acquaintance or friend. I know there is no way to tell if you can live tomorrow or die in your sleep. This just makes me question life itself, and why have god created us, and why have we turned into antisocial animals that only live only for themselves.

Get started where you can and the money making part will come to you. Sit down with a journal and write out the things you’re good at, things you enjoy, and things you know a lot about. Starting over from scratch, I would prioritize discovering what truly brings me joy and engagement, emphasizing the importance of the journey itself over the destination. It's crucial to understand that forcing outcomes or focusing solely on profitability from the outset can hinder genuine progress and fulfillment.
To find my purpose and potentially profit from it, I'd build positive habits and routines to explore my interests deeply, distinguishing between fleeting pleasures and true passions. This exploration involves trying different activities to unearth what resonates with me, thus developing discipline and self-awareness.
Identifying an activity that I naturally enjoy, much like my preference for calisthenics over gym workouts, allows me to engage with it purely for the love of the process, rather than the results. This approach ensures a more enjoyable and fulfilling life and establishes a foundation for profitability. However, it's vital to acknowledge that forcing things or chasing immediate profitability can lead to instability. Instead, becoming proficient in your passion through dedicated learning and practice is key. As you excel in something you love, monetization opportunities will naturally emerge. You might not see all the possibilities now, as it's a process that unfolds step by step. Only by committing to each stage of growth can you begin to see the next steps and understand how to make your passion profitable.
To summarize, finding your purpose and potentially profiting from it entails experimenting extensively and embracing your passions without pushing for immediate results. Transforming into someone who naturally engages with their interests leads to a life in harmony with those passions. Initially, your focus should be on personal growth and skill development rather than immediate profitability; success and stability stem from consistent dedication and becoming proficient in what you love. As you master your area of passion, you'll naturally discover various ways to monetize it, uncovering opportunities that weren't apparent at the beginning. This gradual process of exploration and improvement will guide you to see the future steps more clearly.

So. Life is life. We are all living the same existence. People often say becoming a billionaire is unrealistic. Elon musk is a billionaire and his life is just as real as yours
When it comes to doing the things that matter. You’re worth just sitting down and writing out how mad existence is at all. It can help you to do work you know you should do when you remind yourself how mad it is that you’re even here. Not to mention the shit your parents and everyone else has gone through to make your life as easy as possible
It’s so lucky. And so easy to take for granted

Like ok, so stop being worthless, do something that gives you some value and increases your worth. its always 1 step at a time man you just gotta keep making steps and never give up on yourself. Believe that your ambitions will come true and then once you really believe that your actions start to follow suit with your ambition because you know that it needs to happen for your goals to come into fruition. And stop using lack of friends as an excuse. If you want friends that have ambitions you gotta provide those friends w value too. You're not valuable enough yet to have friends w high value and ambitions.

(20yr old) Best advice I can give anyone:
    1. Failue isn’t one event, it’s the consistent decline of …
    2. Walk with a bounce, head high, chest out, make eye contact and smile to people. When in a restaurant/cafe/bakery always take control of the room, be loud, respectful and funny (Always smile)
Happiness radiates happiness, people who see u happy will become happy and people will react postiviely to your happiness (it’s a neverending cycle)
This is a major foundation to then be successfull in my opinion, build the best connections and develop your networking skills

Today, for the first time, I approached two girls. Even though I felt uncomfortable, I still did it because, as Hamza once said, you have to gather the courage to talk to girls so you can meet your future dream woman. And ever since that the thought never left me, so I told myself I wouldn't leave the city today until I got a number. And to be honest, I did it, and afterwards, I felt so confident, even though it went so badly and now they're ghosting me. But I know that in the future, it won't be like this because it's part of the progress. So i am happy of todays Progress

Well done on building up the courage. Most people don't realize how difficult it is to do this without having any prior experience, it can be so scary and overwhelming, but the fact that you pushed through is fantastic.
Although what you're doing is healthy and fairly positive skill you need to acquire, don't be attached to the outcome, rather the let outcome find you.
I'm Christian and you don't necessarily have to be Christian to understand the following:
      ‭Matthew 12:30 AMP‬
[30] He who is not with Me [once and for all on My side] is against Me; and he who does not [unequivocally] gather with Me scatters.
If they don't talk to you, their honestly doing you a favour, you don't have to waste your time on people who don't resonate with you.
Stay blessed brother, focus on the process not the outcome ❤

@visualities I asked a girl about her phone number, but she told me that she had a boyfriend, so I just turned directions. Afterwards I asked another girl I was like asking her some stuff, she were responding, but it still was kinda awkward because as I talked to her my mouth told her "i am sorry" for doing it so bad and I didnt even wanted to say it, it just came out. But in the end I still got her number, I texted her "hey was nice to meet you" and since then no reply😭. Anyways this was a wholesome experience and I kinda like to get rejected by girls. Because it only tells you that you have room to improve. So yeah I got only one number. Have a great day my brother!

Man you are still so real and pure even though money is in your face. I appreciate you a ton bro. I’m far up on the self improvement and other guys my age look up to me, and it is partly because of guys like you that I kept going through tough times and even worked harder on myself. For example when I was 15 (now 17) my dad got diagnosed with ALS, and it was very progressive. During his decline I took my mental and physical so serious even more so than before. Worked out 6/7 days a week and leveled up about everywhere (except for school where I couldn’t really put my attention at the time, but still managed with decent grades). He died within a year later when I was 16, but the grind has not stopped. Now working really hard and about to have exams for my last year of grad school. One little thing I struggle with though is when I tell others about self improvement ideas and things I am working on in the early stages of it and the feedback always is negative, I tend to give up on it for a while. I understand this is something people automatically do because they don’t want others to outgrow them, so now I just silently grind before showing my passions, but do you have any other advice on the mental block of opinions on your goals?

    • @l2_-_-gang733

I would start meditation "Meditation can help strengthen your mindfulness and inner peace. As a result, you develop a deeper self-acceptance and a better understanding of your own thoughts and feelings. This makes it easier for you to accept the opinions of others without them strongly influencing your own self-perception. Ultimately, meditation helps to establish a stable inner foundation that enables you to react more calmly to the opinions of others."

Sorry for your loss man. To your question, I'd say get a group of friends online from Adonis Gang or something and speak to them about your goals, not to "normal people". Hormozi says something like if they don't have a life you want, don't listen to their opinions.

    • @rithvikmedasani363
      @rithvikmedasani363 6 місяців тому

I recommend you read How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie because, in that book, Mr.Carnegie talks about how you can get other people to understand you and like you even if they have the opposite opinions and beliefs that you have.
One piece of advice I will give to you is to always control your temper in conversations because getting angry or emotional will only make the other person more stubborn with his ideologies, opinions, and beliefs because he/she will feel the need to defend themselves and their pride. So never say that the other person is wrong or stupid and genuinely be open-minded even if you know that they are wrong. Doing so will make the other person more open-minded as well so he might start understanding and respecting your goals and ideas even if he/she is a loser.
I could talk about a lot more techniques like this but I'll just recommend you to read the book that I mentioned cuz it will change your life

No, the fear is never going to go away. Fear is a natural human emotion. You can't deal with it. But, you can manage to control it, and get over it. For example, you're afraid to talk to girls, Good. You trick your mind to go, with fear in you and let your mind talk naturally to this girl... It's also correlated with self-confidence...

I came to this realization this morning, I got a bit sad because of some personal issues and everytime my mood improves I find my self trying to come back to the sad state, I actually liked, sometimes it's good to feel sad, it's good to feel anxious as long as you are still doing the work.
