Passed my test In Bletchley today. 2 minors. Honestly travis, your videos were a godsend. Helped with so much. Spiral roundabouts/learning the roads etc! Keep up the videos 🙏👏
Can you give some advice for joining an unlit motorway at night on a short slip road? I have been in situations where I had to stop on the slip road because I cannot judge the distance of the cars in my mirror until they are right next to me. A car that is 10m behind me looks the same as a car that is 200m behind me because all I see are their bright headlights. Also, when joining on a bend, cars in lane 2 are impossible to distinguish between cars in lane 1 so I have to wait not just for a gap in lane 1 but in both lanes. I suspect judging the speed and distance of a set of bright lights gets easier with experience but given my lack of experience, I have to leave myself a wide margin. I have had an eye test recently and don't have any vision problems.
Help I’m scared of going over 50 so avoid motorways I get panicked & feel like putting the break on even ARds if they go on too long , how can I overcome my fear . I need to drive for my job
You need to drive more That’s the only way you get used to it I was new to driving but now I love it 😂 imagine you’re an F1 driver Driving at high speeds is really easy
@@Ladybird22373 lol 😂 you’ll be fine. Just drive more, always remember you’re in control of the car. Take it in stages, get comfortable at different speed limits and take it week by week don’t rush into it.

Excellent tips on night time motorway driving. Incredibly helpful and much needed especially as we now have shorter daylight in the UK
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you for watching and safe driving.
This is really helpful, thank you 😊
Glad it was helpful!
What about heavy rain motorway driving I sometimes get a noise assuming to the rainfall do I then press the brakes or just let go of the gas?
I would let the car slow down gradually by lifting off the gas. Pressing the brake In heavy rain could case the car to skid.
@@JamesTravis thanks
