This video is incredibly high quality and it's fascinating seeing what you look for and want in the series. The reasons you give for the bottom few episodes being the bottom make sense, but so much of what you find boring and drawn out is exploring characters, their trauma, consequences to their actions, etc -- And it's okay that those are at the bottom cause I can still understand why they're there from what you search for, even if I like them. Plus, it's a rank, so some things just have to be put at the bottom, and ranking something like BCS is hard, at least to me. Anyways 1:58 quarto de hotel spotted Keep making good videos. This is strong
@@Sk1llzHeeler I appreciate your comment 🙏 besides maybe the mike catching gus stuff there’s not much I could really complain about with this show, most episodes are lower just because I prefer others, but I do also understand why those scenes are important and drawn out, just not my personal favorite.
My favorite episode is between winner and Saul Gone.I mean Saul Gone its perfect but Winner is very special and all the Chuck shadow all over the episode is really felt. The Mike and Werner stuff were great and when Werner yells to his wife to protect her its heartbreaking.Jimmy projecting all his emotion to the girl after the scholarship meeting its very interesting ebmven saying the You never mattered all that much...chuck's monologue from Lantern. And jimmy breaking down and being real with his emotions for the first time is sad. Great video!
fantastic video man! the amount of effort applied to this video is insane man. it’s impossible to properly evaluate a series without assessing each and every episode, and you do so expertly. keep up the good shit man!
12:58 that letter was written way earlier around when Jimmy started working in the mail room so Chuck still meant what he said in their last conversation. That's why Jimmy reacts the way he does cause he knows it's bs
I think chuck still loved jimmy deep down, I think he was just mad after what jimmy did at the hearing, plus his mental state was very obviously decreasing at that point
I heard people had complaints about some of the episodes having scenes being dragged and coming across as boring but I never had that mindset, maybe due to the fact I was happy to see Saul Goodman again. Underated content creator ❤ I've been waiting for this video since the breaking bad ranking popped up on my fyp earlier this year, just started to watch this ranking,i hope its as good as the bb ranking🎉🎉
The idea that Howard is at all responsible for Chuck's Suicide is one that is only possible in-universe because Howard doesn't know Jimmy was the one that got Chuck's premiums raised. He certainly would have blamed him 100% and been *vicious* about it if he had known. It was not at all unreasonable for him to ask Chuck to leave given the higher premiums *every* lawyer would have to pay because of *his* breakdown in court, that Chuck killed himself afterward might have been predictable and/or avoidable, but playing his crisis councilor was not Howard's job.
Happy to see I'm not the only one who prefers Point and Shoot over Plan and Execution, and it's totally not just because it aired on my birthday I swear! (Also woah my comment made it in I'm famous)
It seems like s6 is actually your favorite season. 5 of the top 10 (and 3 of the top 5) were from s6. Plus rock & hard place was just outside top 10. Also only 1 s5 episode was top 10. Just an observation, loved the ranking
@@dibo43288 I do think s6 has higher highs and more highs because it’s longer, but it also has more weaker and lower episodes in my opinion, so I still prefer s5 overall. thank you for your comment though 🙏
Heres my hot take As much as yall hate chuck, he's the second best or best written character in the show. He's the fiest one who doubts jimmy despite being the one who knew him the best. Yes chuck is an asshole but jimmy was crooked before chuck really began to tear into jimmy. Jimmy stole from their parents, got himself in jail, chuck bailed him out and still allowed him a job under his firm. Did chuck still kick jimmy down for attempting to be a lawyer? Yes again chuck is an asshole bit his worry isnt unfounded, we see tbings from jimmys prospective yet from what we've heard from chuck, jimmy has been forgiven again and again and again yet hasnt changed. Chuck is way too hard on jimmy but even then, he still gave jimmy chances to change, but he didn't. Even when chuck dies jimmy pretends not to care and keep being a crook unintentionally proving chuck right and fulfilling chucks final wish. Chuck's presence is felt throughout the show even passed his death and it makes for honestly my second favorite antagonist next to gus (specifically breaking bad gus).
@@djthegamer5 it's one of the reasons I can't really hate him, he's responsible for some of the best interactions in the show (chicanery is my favorite episode.)

@@ASwagPecan I kinda see what you mean but the lalo stuff in the second half of the season is just peak and its really nice seeing jimmy be a lawyer again in the first half, also not many weaker episodes compared to other seasons imo
@@djthegamer5 Yeah, I admit bias heavily plays a role in my perspective. I watched BCS since the premiere live or within the week it released & watched the first three seasons more than the second half when waiting for the next season's premiere. The Salamanca/Fring storyline takes second place to Jimmy/Kim IMO so maybe that's why I favor the grounded earlier seasons. Don't get me wrong Lalo is incredible. I can't imagine the BB universe without him now, but something about those early Jimmy vs HMM days is cozy. Also, the Hank/Gomez stuff felt super forced.
honestly I prefer the jimmy and kim stuff too, when I refer to lalo I mostly mean the scenes and plotlines he has with jimmy. I do really like the first half of the show, I just think plot wise it improves a lot in the second half. Also I personally enjoyed the hank and gomey callbacks but thats probably just cause hank is one of my favorites from bb, thank you for watching and commenting btw
Hello, i just wanted to let you know this video is sub-par and the reasons you give for the "worst" episodes being at the bottom are lazy and stupid . Saying things like "Kim decides to watch a bunch of cases at the courthouse for no reason", and "Mikes support group subplot is bad and I don't get the point of it", show that you have an incredibly surface level understanding of this series. You are in no position to criticize and discuss a piece of art when you have the media literacy of a walnut. I'm not saying every episode of this show is perfect, and that you have to enjoy all of it. But if you're going to make a two hour video discussing it, I would expect you to have a decent understanding of the shows characters, themes, and events. And that you are the least bit familiar with how to create meaningful, insightful discussion with interesting points and something new to say.
Before I fully respond, thank you for the criticism and taking time out of your day to watch the video and comment. In regards to the Mike scene, I don't exactly think it's bad, I just found it awkward which is why I'm not a fan of it. I understand the point of it more now but I still don't think it was necessary. Also to say I "have the media literacy of a walnut" is kind of harsh, I'm not gonna pick up on every single little detail, especially since I rewatched the whole 63 episode show in the span of a month while working on this video, not everything clicks with everyone right away. Same goes for the Kim scene, and I still don't enjoy the scenes whether I understand their importance or not. This whole video is literally just my opinion, I don't care if a scene has some ultra deep theme or meaning, if I don't enjoy the scene then I don't enjoy the scene. In regards to me being in "no position to discuss a piece of art" everyone is in position to discuss pieces of art, even if you don't understand something, you can still be a part of the discussion which actually helps most people understand media more, I sure as hell wouldn't understand these shows as well as I do without the discussions and I highly doubt you would either. And I really don't care what you think my qualifications are to make a video like this, because I'm gonna make them anyways. I never claimed to be an expert on either of these shows, I'm literally just making these videos because I enjoy writing scripts, watching and discussing these shows, and editing. I'm not getting paid for this nor am I a professional, it's all for fun. But thank you for the criticism, I'll try to fully understand everything in my next ranking to my best ability, have a good day.
Axe and Grind is the worst, we didnt need to see Lalo in Germany at all, I wish more series learn from these mistakes, introducing a foreign country is boring, especially when a character like Lalo has to go there , we know he gets stuff done point and blank. Most of the stuff Lalo does in season 6 is such clutter and a mess, I think writers ran out of good material or didn't care anymore.
