Since this is randomly generated I have one question on my mind…will this continue the sonic saga? Edit: Karina is the host, so no but hole drama for us
I'm an Australian, and according to my grandma (who tells a lot of stories so take this with a grain of salt) I'm related to the guy who named spiders spiders. According to legend, he owned a milk bar (idk if you have them in Yankee land but they're a small shop that sells lollies and soft drink and pies and kind of everything, the idea being that you can drop into your local milk bar instead of going to the supermarket) and he had big vats of ice cream, only sometimes a spider would get into the ice cream, I guess because of the sugar? So he couldn't sell it in a cone but instead sold it at a discounted price mixed with soft drink in a glass. We also don't have root beer here, unless you're at a place that sells American stuff, so spiders are made with regular soft drink- in my opinion the lime spider is king, but other popular choices are raspberry, orange or creaming soda. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
I only know about the Garden Eel because of Animal Crossing, so I’m really proud of Julia for finding it. I would love to see the google rabbit hole she dived into to find “the fish that stands up” though
Julia mentioned mermaid fashion, and it reminded me of a Dutch fairytale I read that went into surprising depth into the topic of mermaid politics. And now I want Drawfee to draw Dutch fairytales. I've only read a few of them, but the ones I read were so funny in ways I didn't expect. They all somehow felt extremely mundane, even when dealing with mythical creatures and high stakes.
i like that the root beer float guy's cigarette is completely unashed but burnt to the filter lmao, cuz in my mind it means he didn't even puff the cigarette, he just held it there and let it burn down to look cool
Now I want to see them draw fantasy people with locally sourced material for outfists to the extra degree they discussed at the start of the episode, like the classic merpeople with coral clothes and dwarves with graphite gowns
Fun fact: while Aus is FULL of spider NZ has almost none, and none at all with venom that can seriously harm a human 😊💜 actually we don't have snakes, or any dangerous animals really~! as a kiwi going to Aus is a truly terrifying prospect haha
I'm Australian, and I don't get the "Dangerous Australia" reputation we have. America has bears, cougars, wolves, coyotes, and Republicans. All of those things are way more scary to me than any of our spiders or snakes (especially since our hospitals have anti-venin).
What if thats how Australia keeps people away from their land, by pretending they have all these deadly spiders, but its just a natural bounty of root beer floats, which I have to assume grow on trees there
thinking of that scene in beetlejuice where the us census man comes and he says "how many... People... live here?" and Lydia says "Just me" and he says "And you?" And Beetlejuice says "Oh I don't live here. I'm DEAD."
I've been trying a lot of root beer brands lately, mainly because there's so much variation in the flavors. Some brands are all "we used extra vanilla and some honey", while other brands just get creative with throwing any kind of stank-ass root in there, from birch and acacia to licorice. I assume that an old-fashioned root beer float would probably use one of the stronger, more bitter flavors to contrast with the sweetness of the ice cream. Maybe even the flavor would be stronger with the idea that people who just wanted to drink it could get it more diluted by the manual soda fountain
I tried the generator and got the following sentences... "He was an introvert that extroverts seemed to love." "Rock music approaches at high velocity." I love this generator!
I think I get what Julia was talking about with the root beer float. it's like early 1900's style, high pants, suspenders, and pinstripes, maybe a bowler hat.
Random Generated Sentence: "You have no right to call yourself creative until you look at a trowel and think it would make a great lockpick." This sounds like it came from a book I'd love to read
I was really expecting a Men in Black reference on that last drawing - "Keep in mind, just because you see a black man driving a car, does not mean he stole it! ... OK, I did steal this one - but not because I'm black."

“I used to live in my neighbors fish pond, but the aesthetic wasn’t to my taste” is my new favorite anime of 2023
Julia WAS living in that 50s style diner, but after that root beer float?
The energy Karina brought to this episode was impeccable.
I finally figured out why I am SO hooked on Drawfee...
Every episode sounds like the inside of my head.
It's weird to see the editor interfere twice, but I think it's funny
Since this is randomly generated I have one question on my mind…will this continue the sonic saga?
Edit: Karina is the host, so no but hole drama for us
no sonic but hole
"Suspenders could be the straw," has the same energy as Karina's "the pockets are the fingernails of the butt." 😂😂
16:27 - Jacob: Whats an old style root beer float?
--- Julia: I think like pants up to the nipples
Karina got sent to the stratosphere.
The milk bar in Majora's mask!?
Fascinating thank you for the lore.
Yeah I don't think I've ever even seen root beer for sale here anywhere. I mostly make spiders with Coke or Pepsi.
This is quite interesting, I love family lore
For a good long while, Jacob was drawing Jeff Goldbloom Jurassic Park
Very cool render, Nathan! I like the smudges and also her face
i like that the root beer float guy's cigarette is completely unashed but burnt to the filter lmao, cuz in my mind it means he didn't even puff the cigarette, he just held it there and let it burn down to look cool
Now I want to see them draw fantasy people with locally sourced material for outfists to the extra degree they discussed at the start of the episode, like the classic merpeople with coral clothes and dwarves with graphite gowns
Nathan's Australian accent sounds like JFK. Especially the "feels like a spider" line.
You can tell they're *really* American cause they call crocodiles 'gators' (different species) and redbacks, black widows lol
I can’t believe Karina forced everyone to draw for our entertainment
Thanks Karina for representing that the good old days weren't the same for everyone. And thanks for still making it funny!
Fun fact: while Aus is FULL of spider NZ has almost none, and none at all with venom that can seriously harm a human 😊💜 actually we don't have snakes, or any dangerous animals really~! as a kiwi going to Aus is a truly terrifying prospect haha
I love how Karina does the "Hey.." thing Julia does lol
I'm Australian, and I don't get the "Dangerous Australia" reputation we have.
America has bears, cougars, wolves, coyotes, and Republicans.
All of those things are way more scary to me than any of our spiders or snakes (especially since our hospitals have anti-venin).
What if thats how Australia keeps people away from their land, by pretending they have all these deadly spiders, but its just a natural bounty of root beer floats, which I have to assume grow on trees there
Oh no, there is a toxic (not deadly, but toxic) black house spider that is literally everywhere, to the point that is the COMMON house Spider :3
The trees will kill you.
thinking of that scene in beetlejuice where the us census man comes and he says "how many... People... live here?" and Lydia says "Just me" and he says "And you?" And Beetlejuice says "Oh I don't live here. I'm DEAD."
Am I just tired or was everyone even more incomprehensible than they usually are?
I genuinely think “suspenders could be the straw” broke my brain because I haven’t been able to retain anything since
They didn't do any Catfish jokes , it was right there
I don’t know how but the text “Nathan meant to say crocodiles” silently appearing and disappearing gives me indie horror game vibes
My favorite root beer is flavored with raw maple syrup ❤
I tried the generator and got the following sentences...
"He was an introvert that extroverts seemed to love."
"Rock music approaches at high velocity."
I love this generator!
I think I get what Julia was talking about with the root beer float. it's like early 1900's style, high pants, suspenders, and pinstripes, maybe a bowler hat.
Random Generated Sentence: "You have no right to call yourself creative until you look at a trowel and think it would make a great lockpick."
This sounds like it came from a book I'd love to read
"the neighbor in my fish pond" smells strongly of Old Gregg.
I was really expecting a Men in Black reference on that last drawing - "Keep in mind, just because you see a black man driving a car, does not mean he stole it! ... OK, I did steal this one - but not because I'm black."
as an australian i am gonna be haunted by Nathan's accent, thank u so much
Here's a drawing suggestion: Design cute toy merch based on Drawfee goofs and gaffs. Killer Karina plushie with different velcro-attachable knives. Julia's room full of vampire playsets. Jacob's stackable Yogi balancing toy. My Little Nathan, complete with brushable beard. Fully articulated Porfo figure complete with 3 face plates and multiple attachments. Let your ideas run wild for toy merch!
