I'm almost done with my 90 hours and getting ready for my state exam. I'm not one to just start conversations with people unless I have something meaningful to say. So, I started talking to strangers and have become not only comfortable with this, but I am enjoying the connections I am making. Your words are spot on!

Bryan , Been watching your videos as a form to gain knowledge of the real estate industry. I also admire the success you have with your current business endeavors and demeanor when it comes to handling different situations as well as communicating in a business environment. I'm assuming the person that you have become is what has made you successful , Are there any books you have read that made you the successful person you are today ?
    Thanks - Rafael

by the way I'd like to stress how right you are when you correlate confidence and Competence( you mentioned this in a different video)...I concur with this correlation because I feel I can communicate the benefits of "Eating-right" , "Excising, " Learning how to fight (Boxing, kickboxing, etc..)" with Ease to anyone ( even if I don't "Close" on them) because i'm talking about something that I truly feel can help other people ( It starts from within).

Quick question Bryan Casella, did you in the past, commit to talk to strangers yourself because you weren't comfortable at it in the first place?

I just came back from outside...I ended up only hitting 4 people, lol.
Person # 1-- Some dude had on a pair of really nice pink shorts, I gently intrupted him while he was looking at a laptop ( We were in best Buy) and complemented him..he had this look on his face like " They're only shorts, big deal", but I really liked them and asked where he got it from..said he found them in a street; as some people ( Here in New York City) give away free shit all the time )..i thanked him and moved on.
    Person# 2-
I was in the grocery store picking up some things and saw this woman pick up some eggs..I asked her if she tought that the eggs she picked up were a good brand( I was trying to get her opinion on something, to make here feel important; like her opinion matters..)...she didn't speak good english but understood enough to say "Yes they're good" and walked away...--lololoolol!
Person# 3- ( probably the best one today)
I was in a duane Reade pharmacy finishing up my errands and saw that the cashier had a really nice bracelet (I like silver items), and complemented her on it..asked here where she got it because i wanted to buy one for my niece..she proceeded to tell me where she got it as she rang up my items..towards the end she looked a little uncomfortable.. as she probably thought I was hitting on her..I think it was because I was make eye contact...weird..."
Person# 4- ( probably not the best one)
I was in a bank and this lady storms in and I attempted to have a little small-talk.... " Really hot out there eh?"..she replies, yet its really fucking hot out..then says something in spanish then zips outside the door..(she was in a hurry)
all in all I gotta say that it was a great experience..I was able to pick up on body language very quickly and analyze their facial expressions..for person 3 I was immediately able to catch when she felt uncomfortable based on her eye moments and body language ( which happend toward the end of the conversation..in the beginning, she was all about talking about her bracelet.weird and fascinating at the same time... look forward to doing it again tomorrow. Thanks BC

Okay so the three people you referenced approaching in conversation were women...Brian have you considered the fact you’re a Brad Pitt level?...of course they’re going to have no problem continuing a conversation with you. They all probably called their girlfriends later to say “this hot guy just started talking to me”....LOL..seriously love your vids though..very helpful.

37parman lol brother i’m no Brad Pitt. Looks only get you so far, common misconception. Only exception is if you’re genetically perfect, which i’m not

Me: yes i was planning to make that for dinner tonight

This works for most people, because 99% of the time you're not talking to a hot girl or guy. You're probably talking to an old lady who has a house to sell.
