LYRICS:
I'm in love with the sunshine
I'm in love with the falling rain
Everything seems to call your name
Yesterday you were leaving
Leaving life and all the pain
Everything wants you back again.
I've found myself through you
And there was love in my life
I felt always naturally high and my love had a home
But now my mind has started to roam
You're my life giving fire and you carried all my love
Through you I was so inspired
You're engraved deep in my heart
My dreams recall us being one
I've searched for you to be free
My force of life you have always been
I Feel blue since you've gone
Your breath of love surrounded me
When can I rejoin you to be free
Wait, can this be a dream
There is a voice in my head
It belongs to you, it say's
Don't cry, no need to be sad
There's a way to stay with you again
It's more than you ever had
And no death brings us apart
Our timeless love always grows
Because you are in my other heart
I know we've never been apart
Your love sets fire to my heart
We'll burn the sky
When it's time for me to die
We'll burn the sky...

Uli Jon Roth, one of the best guitarist ever
Klaus...the voice of GOD
He does have an AMAZING voice AND he knows how to use it. Absolutely awesome!
Scorpions 74-78, the Best band you’ve never heard! I remember being 16 and a schoolmate asked if I liked the Scorpions, I said yeah lovedrive and the zoo. He said they have been around since early 70’s, put on Tokyo Tapes and BLEW MY MIND🎤🎸🎸🥁😎
To this day, Tokyo Tapes is my (Itai) absolute favourite live album of all time. I think Scorpions are still underrated. So many masterpieces and an unmistakable sound and signature that is purely their own.
Thank you for taking the time to view and engage. Much appreciated! 🙏
Type in Scorpions 1977 on UA-cam, and enjoy the closest show to Tokyo Tapes there is. 🎤🎸🎸🎸🥁😎
@@785uli This is one I play at various time throughout the week: ua-cam.com/video/fiOL-BTrahs/v-deo.html
The Scorpions Official UA-cam channel has some vintage 70’s and 80’s Videos 🦞😎
That sick bass line always blows my mind, I can feel it thumping in my chest!
I didn’t know the song and it sounded quite fresh to me. I think it really aged well. Thanks for the background information. 🙂
Yes, it is a timeless classic. Scorpions have created many such masterpieces.
Thank you once again, for taking the time to view and engage, Andrea. Much appreciated! 🙏
It baffles me too why Asaf has not been listening to Scorpions, and I can absolutely see no reason for it 😂 Thank you guys for another awesome reaction. This song is indeed special to me, and it's been giving me goosebumps since I was 16. One of my absolute favourite songs, one of my top two Scorpions songs, and I will never get tired listening to it. It's an absolute masterpiece, crowned by Klaus Meine's mindblowing vocals.
Shame that the video got blocked, watching Klaus Meine windmill dancing in plateau boots is a sight to behold 😁
Yes, I (Itai) totally agree. Scorpions have so many timeless classics and masterpieces, just amazing. I even struggle to decide how I would rate their songs as so many are massive favourites and that list could change on any given day, depending on my mood. They are just THAT good.
As for videos getting blocked, it seems to happen more with "older" songs, but we stopped worrying about it. We only find out when we upload an episode, so it just means we need to delete the upload and re-upload a new version we create without the music video. It's not as good, but it's all we can do 🤷♂ We love reacting to your requests either way 🙂
Thank you again for the awesome requests and for the views and engagement. We truly appreciate your support of the show! Thank you so, so much! 🙏
@@myindieprodentertainment Agree, it's really hard to pick favourites, still, In Trance and this one here top the list for me, even if it's by a narrow margin 😉 This band is just amazing and has a ton of brilliant songs.
Glad to hear you're not fed up yet with my rather unpopular requests... I still have some I would like to send your way, and they will probably also not be crowd favourites 😅 I'll also gladly mix in a few Scorpions songs, if you mean what you wrote further down 😁 There's no such thing as too much Scorpions.
@@miceandmen I would throw in there a few other contenders, from 'Holiday' to 'Wind of Change' and many others. Too difficult to pick one. Too much awesome 😉
Your requests might not be popular with our audience (or with the copyright owners 😆), but we love them. It's a refreshing change to go back from time to time and react to some forgotten (and not so forgotten) classics.
Too much Scorpions... what's THAT?? It just does not compute... 🙂
Bring it ON! 😄 We are here to connect with an audience as much as wee can, so we truly appreciate the support... more than you realise! 🙏
@@myindieprodentertainment Does not compute indeed 😁 It's a deal, I'll throw in some Scorpions, if you don't mind. I'll never get tired of hearing what you have to say about their music. And a certain incredible vocalist's voice. I read you are thinking about a separate show for the old stuff, huh? Sounds awesome!
@@miceandmen Yeah, I (Itai) personally never tire of listening to Scorpions and love an opportunity to introduce them to a new audience.
As for a separate show, it's an idea with a little twist. We hope to get to it in the near future, if we ever find the time. Making Babble On episodes and releasing one every second day has been quite a task. We keep pushing forward and definitely enjoying having you along for the ride 🙂
I didn't listen to Scorpions in the 70s. Just so many other bands that I loved (from Black Sabbath to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Pink Floyd). The only thing I remember about Scorpions from the 70s was that controversial album cover which I thought was very, very cringe as a 15 or 16 year old. BTW, Linda Ronstadt's Hasten Down The Wind album cover is what got my teenage heart beating. Lovedrive was the first album I really remember (I found that album cover pretty funny). Blackout was big when I was in college but that was also the same time I discovered Iron Maiden, and then later bands like Metallica and Megadeth. Scorpions was a very good band that just never stayed long on my radar. I don't even think I have listened to their album from a couple of years ago.
It's never too late, Dan 😉 I (Itai) believe that almost all of Scorpions' music is timeless. It gives me such pleasure to listen to them that it is difficult to put into words. They are still one of my favourite all-time bands and I stand by Klaus being one of the top voices all-time. It's so different and piercing, I get goosebumps listening to him every time.
I preferred their more cheeky/sexy album covers at the time, for sure. Linda Ronstadt's HDTW album cover definitely had a sexy innocence to it. It's a great cover.
We hope to cover more Scorpions on the show in the future (though they don't seem to garner much interest or many views), so we still hope to change your mind and potentially twist your arm into "making up for lost time" 😉
As always, thank you for taking the time to view and engage. Much appreciated! 🙏
p.s. - we plan to start recording your latest batch of requests today, so that should be fun! Thanks again for the support!

@@myindieprodentertainment I remember when Tokyo Tapes came out. I was in high school. A friend of mine played it a lot. I listened to their newest album when I did my (almost) everyday 2+ mile walk yesterday. I enjoyed it and it definitely helped me keep the pace I wanted. I will listen to some of the older Scorpions albums I liked back in the day, which were their three album stretch beginning with Lovedrive. How familiar are you with the great Southern Rock that was played back in the 70s and early 80s? Not just Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers but bands like Molly Hatchet and Blackfoot.
@@danw6048 I did listen to a lot of different rock bands of that era, which included Skynyrd, Allman Brothers and even bands like Jefferson Airplane, Steve Miller Band, Bob Seger & Silver Bullet Band and many more, BUT I am less familiar with Molly Hatchet and Blackfoot, who I really know by name only. I guess I should correct that...🙂
@myindieprodentertainment Let me see what I can find. I remember seeing a good live video of Molly Hatchet, especially considering when it was filmed. Maybe I should make a Linda Ronstadt request too.
