Universal is really beating Disney at their own game right now! The drones with back to the future was brilliant, the fact that ghostbusters' water effects were following the beat is something that you have never seen with your eyes, trolls with the fireworks: loved it, and then everything at the end with Universal logo is so awesome that it makes you speechless. Love the IPS that they chose mixing their past present and future from both parks and movies with this show (whether from them or bought out) It really just goes to show that Universal can downright beat Disney with both movies and theme parks. Some other examples outside of back to the future and ghostbusters and trolls are the jurassic and fast saga, shrek/how to train your dragon, harry potter/jaws/e.t. and so much more! overall, Universal is doing amazing as of 2010-now. Keep it up Universal!
My family went there beginning of the summer after I had to convince them to do these parks and sacrifice some Disney parks. They were expecting it to be a lame version of Hollywood because of the no tram tour, but we were blown away by all of it (especially the Harry Potter areas and most of them hadn’t seen the movies) and we are very excited about Epic Universe.
On a technical level for SURE. Story and structure wise it still leaves a bit to be desired but D23 needs to include a response to this specifically for SURE
Universal has Disney in a massive corner where they are most vulnerable. If Disney does anything at all, it will take them more than half a decade to get it done. The last time this happened was 2010 when Universal opened the Wizarding World, and Disney hasn’t learned since.
That’s 10000% different. Like I said I agree with you that they have an edge, but this could easily be adjusted for by Disney with the literally empty amphitheater at Animal kingdom.
Universal finally caught up with Disney. Where CineCele was a step up towards their standards, THIS one goes pound for pound. Now we await the Mouse’s response.

This was incredible. The HTTYD bit made me cry, got chills when E.T. played near the end and Peaches was unexpected but great
Only time ive ever said this but USO did SUCH a good job
They actually did it, universal made a show with cohesion and emotion
Man, there’s lots of reasons I love Universal
Thank you for the video!

I love the back to the future the ride reference at 19:20
Real!
It’s starting
10:31 - 11:31 Who You Gonna Call?
15:14 - 16:11 Go, Bowser!
The best rendition of all their nighttime lagoon shows. Capturing a bit of that Disney magic
Love this show but the longer I look at it I realize its the Roku home screen color scheme
i love the twister reference in the "note tornado"
Can you give a time stamp? I didn't catch it...
Glad I’m not the only one that saw/thought this.
@18:30
I’ve never been to Universal Florida, but after watching this I so want to it looks so incredible

7:43 never seen people cheer at trolls before
2:29 jurassic park
If I were Disney. I’d be shaking in my boots right now after seeing that

Disney HATES it's fans so they dont care

They legit just took disneys night shows and combined aspects of them. Disney has nothing to worry about

Tbf, this was Universal’s response to WoC, unless you wanna just narrow it down to the Florida parks then you have a point
world of color inspired?
likely the same experts actually

The Mummy (1932)

The show is nice but the drone work is kind of mid.

@@AnakinSkywalker_1858you call this embarrassing? 😂
Universal outdid anything Disney has done in the last 5 years regarding nighttime shows. That was incredible
Wondrous Journeys?
Naw Wondrous Journeys, Believe Sea of dreams, and Luminous the Symphony of Us is better in my opinion
not even close
Outdid disney? How? This is a copy and paste of a disney water show that's been around for more than a decade now. Go check World of Color.
