This is easily the best nighttime show universal has ever done. Just absolutely incredible. I hope to see this show in person soon, personally I still think all of Disney's shows are better but this is a major win for universal. This is the type of show I've always wanted from them and now we finally have it. Congratulations Uni!
The show was really good. Seeing it person makes it that much better. They are definitely changing and I think there is a lot more to come. Thank you for watching.
Saw the show without knowing what to expect. The second i saw the shapes in the sky i genuinely almost cried. It caught me so off guard and i'd never gotten to see a show such as this, even being able to visit the park was such a rare privilege my family and i got. Universal gave me such a beautiful experience with my family.
@@WillBillBilly thank you! I was sick the past week but will be back on schedule starting the end of this week. Plenty more to come. Thank you for watching!

I have seen a few light / fountain /projection/ drone shows on YT ..im from the uk so never got over to the U.S yet to the parks (OBV they are better seeing them in person!) a vid dont do them justice ...i have seen a few ( universal and Disney) as i said on yt and i was left feeling ...well a bit Meh with them ( the shows NOT the vids!) BUT I DO HAVE TO SAY.....THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST SHOW AND VID I HAVE SEEN! I am glad Universal have brought this new show to the parks as far is im concerned its the BEST one I have ever seen ! .....downside is some of the films included don't have a ride at Universal (as far as i know) such as Ghostbusters ( should have one with the new films) Trolls etc BUT saying that it was good to see them included in this show! 😉
Go check out my walkthrough of the new DreamWorks land. Trolls has a rollercoaster and so much more. Hold tight bc once Epic opens I think you’re going to see a lot of transformation happening to these parks. Also Universal just got the permits approved for an area that is double the size of epic. Nothing official and probably won’t be for some time. 1400 acres is a lot of land.
6:06 I love this part E.T. the Extra-terrestrial and Shrek with the John Williams music (E.T.) and Harry Gregson-Williams and John Powell music (Shrek).
For being a huge Transformers fan and King Kong fan, hearing them both back to back was amazing. I can’t wait to be able to see this in person. You did a great job recording, thank you!
Great show, effects and music! I was waiting for Epic but this makes me want to go back now. Finally US back a whole day park. It still can use some extra fireworks though...

This is very r reminiscent to WOC at disney California adventure. Universal has already done this type of water shows and failed. Let's see what happens with this one. Very good show btw!!
Listen, I could go on and on about how much better Universal is than Disney, but even the most impressive theme park shows cannot surpass both Pandora and Galaxy’s Edge. Having been to both parks, I can’t deny that those lands were spectacular. However, I had no clue what to expect when I saw Cinesational, and my socks were blown off when I saw it. Easily better than any of Disney’s nighttime shows, and I saw those in person.
@@CobbleBompster Both of those are very impressive lands. I do think when Epic opens it will be just as impressive. I’m super hyped for Dark Universe at Epic. I’m a huge Monsters fan and HHN. @@gadgetboy1980 funny you say that bc I was like wow this sounds so close to a Disney type of song. I do know a lot of Disney imagineers are at universal now. Who knows.
I feel like this show doesn’t flow well. It cuts off songs before they reach their climax (sometimes even cutting off the iconic chorus that made them famous) and the order doesn’t really make sense holistically. It doesn’t really tell a story - it’s more just “here’s some music we did” I love the technology they used for this show. I hope they do what Disney does with world of color and just keep updating it so it gets better with time

Yeah I just don't like this at all. I haven't seen it in person yet, but I've watched the full video several times from several different angles and I just can't bring myself to like it. Cinematic Celebration was a better show to me. I got chills from it every time I saw it. This feels chaotic, cluttered, and disorganized. And I really can't express how lackluster the music is. It's like they pulled some random theatrical clip off of Epidemic Sound for the main theme. It feels like they just tried too hard to do too much with it. They wanted so badly to use every possible effect and just overwhelm the audience with visual stimulation, but the audio kind of got left behind. That's weird for a show that is supposed to be all about the wonderful music from movies. Cinematic Celebration wasn't nearly as visually stimulating, but the music was way better in my opinion, which made it a more balanced show. It wasn't trying to overwhelm the audience, just give them a pleasant and moving experience. This feels like shock and awe, with emphasis on the shock.
Completely agree with this comment. I felt the music and scene audio in the cinematic spectacular were definitively superior and impactful. Just didn't have near as many visuals.
Good try, I have been to all of these parks and shows numerous times and I enjoy different experiences in all of them. However, you can easily see how much family friendly, popular content Universal lacks. It is very difficult for them to put on the type of show with popular musical content that Disney has, even the Universal execs would admit that without reservation. If it wasn’t for the John Williams scores for ET, Harry Potter and JAWS, you wouldn’t have had much of a musical presentation. Universal has a lot going for them, but they are amateur hour when it comes to night time musical extravaganzas when compared to Disney and without better IP content to drive the musical scores it will be very difficult for them to catch-up.
This show fell short for me. The hallmark Universal movies did not get enough attention and/or either meshed with scenes with other movies. Majority of the hallmark movies did not have their original soundtrack, just some remix that Universal did. The drones and the fireworks is too much. I have to look up at the fireworks or the drones to watch them, means I am missing what is being displayed on the water screens. Overall, it was just a mesh of movies and it did not really synergize well. Really disappointed.
It's no different than Happily Ever After...you're either looking at fireworks or looking at the castle projections. It's hard to see both at the same time unless you're standing too close to the castle where you can't really see the fireworks. It's a 22 minute show and displayed many Universal films. What did you expect, 5 minutes of Jaws?
