- Join me for a Sunday morning walk in beautiful Cynthiana, KY. This is the seat of Harrison County, and the site of two key Civil War battles. You will absolutely love the vibe in this northern Kentucky city, but you’ll also feel the warmth of southern hospitality at its finest.

I live here
How do you like it?
Thanks for showing our beautiful little town. You will be surprised to know the day before this there were more than 1500 classic cars and trucks in downtown for the Rod Run. There are a few thousand people who visit the Run every year. Cynthiana has several events held downtown every year with the Rod Run being the biggest.
The open space behind the court house is used for numerous things including seating for the Downtown Concert Series held during the summer and it's also used for vendors to set up during the different events held downtown. The gentleman you talked with is a very nice person with special needs. Next time try showing Pike Street and the businesses located there, we are lucky to have a wide range of shops who offer things such as Stained Glass, Sewing and Quilting products, arts and craft supplies. Also on Pike Street are the Rho's movie theater VanHooks Hardware, old school hardware store. Delis, bookstore ect..... Thanks again for showing our little town and the kind words you spoke.
I love your town. It has real character. 😊 I hope you can subscribe

Next Time Your Here, visiting .. Let me give you a tour and show you the real country lifestyle of Harrison County..
There's so much rich history including the masonic lodge, Mennonite, one of the historic sites even most residents of cynthiana don't realize is the river flowing through .. flows backwards 😮
I would love that. Do you have IG or Facebook?
Wow, this brought back memories. Grandparents were from Cynthiana, many cousins, aunts and uncles. My Grandmother worked at the Biancke's Restaurant that you showed. Of course growing up I didn't relish visiting there but it is a part of my past.
When was Bianke’s opened?
@SightsSoundsFlavors No idea, I recall going there my whole young life so at least opened mid 60s.
That ole log cabin is an old courthouse
Very cool! Thank you for commenting. I hope you can subscribe. I really love your city.

Thank you! Cheers!
What time of day was this? It seem very laid back. Also do you know what they get for Tornados every season?
Like 10AM ‘ish
We don’t really get tornados
Flooding is something to worry about though if you live near rivers, also the city is infested with drugs.
We hardly get any tornadoes
Are newcomers welcome to here?
Only in the northwestern part of downtown
How safe is this town?
I felt very safe
