  • Hey Guys, this is how I bleach and tone my own hair at home. I share with you the process as well as all products that I have been using for the last 4 years or so. I am in NOOOO way a professional and actually have no clue when it comes to hair but this process and these products are tried and tested and I have found through a TON of trial and error that I always get an end result that I am happy with so I hope you enjoy and please dont forget to subscribe, comment, like or share XXXX Thanks for watching xoxo PS: Please do remember that I know the strength of my hair and what works for mine, might work differently for yours :D xx

    My hair was as long as yours when I began my roughshod road to achieve pure white gold. I gunned the learning curve too many times and put my hair in the ditch. Pixi-lated but determined, I found this video about 2 months ago, studied it and developed some skill of section control. My hair has since stopped breaking and is finally getting long again! I'm so grateful for this video! It has become part of my ritual as I psych myself out for the process at hand, and my results have been fantastic. Blessed Goddess of Peroxide, Thank you for every awesome outcome!

    holy shit, your hair is out of this world. so pretty. i'm amazed you manage to keep it platinum and also super long! i had shoulder length white hair for 6 months and it was too much work for me, i could never deal with such long platinum hair but the result is honestly stunning

    I love this tutorial, all the comments say how beautiful you are and I would have to agree. I would like to try this on my hair but I am having difficulties finding the nouvelle lightest ash blonde color you used to tone your hair. I followed your link but it doesn’t have that color anymore that I could find. Do you know where I can find it or what are you using instead of that if they quit selling it? 😊

    Yes bleach turns banana yellow. Ugh. I use a frosting kit. Sometimes 2 boxes. Depends on how long my hair is. Turns white. Not yellow. And then I add a toner shade. Usually an icy platnium color to the top. I also put a few squirts of conditioner in my mix.
    Then in my toner I add some of the purple toning shampoo. So nice after.
    I love love the lenght of your hair. I really miss mlm one being so long.

      A little tip for speed. Do the front half yourself, wash out, let dry then perhaps get help with the back half. I can do the whole thing at once myself. Not fast enough and neither is my boyfriend lol

      Your roots will process faster than the rest of your hair from the heat your scalp produces. Do everything first then go back to the roots so you're hair is even

  • @brookewire
    @brookewire 3 роки тому

    You have such beautiful hair! My hair is very long too and I have thought about trying to save money and keep up with the root outgrowth myself but I’m so nervous to do it! I have a quick question, have you ever gotten banding or anything? I guess if you don’t retouch roots every 4-6 weeks you can get banding lines in your hair. Has that ever happened to you?! ❤️😻❤️

    • @jessicajonk695
      @jessicajonk695  3 роки тому +1

      Brooke Lee hey Brooke thanks so much! Yes I have had banding happen but ages ago, iv had a few trial and error moments with bleaching my own hair cos I started like 6 years ago I’d say, but have found a method that always gives me satisfying results so not for a long long time. If you first start out with trying to bleach ur hair at home I’m sure I’ll have a few things go wrong but I just carried on researching and learning and practicing! Good luck if you try it out 🌸😊

    Question, why is it important NOT to condition, before toning? I ask because i use a mask while toning.

    • @jessicajonk695
      @jessicajonk695  5 років тому +5

      Giselle Altmayer hey Giselle! Straight after bleaching ur hair, the cuticle is wide open, u want to apply the toner without conditioner as ur hair will soak more of the tone up without the barrier that applying conditioner will create ☺️ I would use the mask after toning, think you might get a better colour result ☺️☺️

    • @aspenallen459
      @aspenallen459 5 років тому

      @@jessicajonk695 yes if u condition first your hair becomes saturated with condition. It acts as a barrier that's why u should soak your hair and condition before getting in chlorine pool. The hair will not be able to take on the green color if you do this while swimming. Saturated means stuffed to busting. It cannot absorb anything else.

    So you did the roots AND the "long root" part at the same time??? I thought it was necessary to leave out the roots first and apply them last and I don't have the energy to do that... 🥲 but this I could do
