Watching this video makes me wish that ordinary humans in the nasuverse had options to become more powerful like every other faction has the dead apostles have their ranks the mages have their ranks the psychics and mystic eye users have their ranks which makes it kind of stand out that normal humans In the nasuverse don't really have a way to get stronger except for the mostly unexplored avenue of cybernetics I think it would be interesting for there to be a faction in the nasuverse that mostly focuses on advanced technology to be powerful stuff like super advanced artificial intelligence different levels of cybernetic enhancements I think that would be cool.

Crimson Moon was defeated by Old Man Z with 2nd magic. However, he was defeated because the former doesn't know how true magic works. He was only defeated but is still active. Meanwhile Zelretch can't repeat the feat again, as he's not on his prime anymore plus it took a toll on him for pulling Kaleidoscope. The vice director of Clock Tower, Lorelei Barthomeloi hunts dead apostle ancestors as a hobby, she got outdid by Shiki in Prelude tho lol.
Yu Meiren isn't a True Ancestor, though she is functionally similar to one that Da Vinci classified her as one in LB3. While she is similar in that she is an Elemental that also consumes blood, Yu Meiren lacks Crimson Moon's influence, therefore she has no Vampiric Impulse whatsoever. She could literally go on for centuries without ever having the urge to consume blood despite having the means to do so, unlike True Ancestors who inevitably fall prey to said impulse. This is speculation on my part but you could say that Yu Meiren is the result of Gaia's attempt at creating her own version of True Ancestors, one that is untainted by Crimson Moon.

And I think it would be cool for a normal person using their own ingenuity to actually have a fair fight with some of the supernatural individuals in the nasuverse.

I find interesting that Vlov is the opposite: he is the exception of a weak DAA.
In the Type-moon universe, you will constantly find exceptions. Nasu just puts a standard so that he himself can make a character to break them.

Yu Meiren isn't a True Ancestor, though she is functionally similar to one that Da Vinci classified her as one in LB3. While she is similar in that she is an Elemental that also consumes blood, Yu Meiren lacks Crimson Moon's influence, therefore she has no Vampiric Impulse whatsoever. She could literally go on for centuries without ever having the urge to consume blood despite having the means to do so, unlike True Ancestors who inevitably fall prey to said impulse. This is speculation on my part but you could say that Yu Meiren is the result of Gaia's attempt at creating her own version of True Ancestors, one that is untainted by Crimson Moon.

I think it would be interesting for there to be a faction in the nasuverse that uses advanced technology to be powerful instead of using magecraft.

@@londonmason6129 yeah but I don't think I've ever seen something powerful like a mage or a dead apostle get taken down by technology that a normal person could use at least anyone important and as far as I can tell there are no primary technology users but I mean people who use technology exclusively to win fights without using magecraft. And I think it would be cool for a normal person using their own ingenuity to actually have a fair fight with some of the supernatural individuals in the nasuverse.

@@londonmason6129 the thing is that there already is a character with cybernetics but the question is how powerful can these cybernetics become and other technologies as well I think it would be interesting for there to be a character that fights using a mix of super advanced technology and mystic codes to make up for their lack of or poor magecraft.
