Getting in your opponents head with tabletalk is one of the oldest, most fundamental things in poker. You'll even see it in OLD movies that portrayed even OLDER times.
Also, if you played poker more than 10 years ago.. hell, even just more than 6 years ago.. it was something that was extremely common.
All these online players who weren't used to socially interacting with anybody pitched a fit about it, plus a few crybabies like Hellmouth (even though he does it himself) got a new rule introduced that isn't only anti-American (anti-free speech), but anti-poker as well.

The guy was peaceable and took it in stride. This made the loser furious he couldn't make the other guy lose his composure. They were across the table from each other. The antagonist then took the olive out of his drink 🍸 and flung it at the winner. It bonked off his nose. I'm telling the truth, the guy dove across the table and landed on dude before the olive hit the ground. Security was already at the side of the poker room and although they were on the job the winner couldn't be torn off the jerk. He had legs around the fool's body (now crying like a b!@#$). Lock on, he took a bite out of dude's face, gouged his eyes and "BONKED" his nose. Eventually, cops came to assist as security was finally able to tear him off the DF. I had the 3 seat, winner 5 seat, jerk 9 seat. The game was interrupted 10-15 minutes. Everybody gave a statement, not one supported the olive thrower, they still had to arrest the winner, due to the damage, but he was a hero a week later when he returned. Not 86d, but the olive guy was, he had a reputation for starting crap.
Too bad there's no "Wring his neck" button for online games

Absolutely atrocious behavior...by the tournament. Speech play is and has always been a big part of the game. He's not screaming, cussing, making threats or being unhinged. He's squarely inside the rules of decorum. And skillfully so. That's what the others are upset about. That they aren't used to playing under such conditions. I get that. Most players don't have a knack for this. Kasouf does.

To everyone wondering why dealer/floor told him to stfu is because he said ‘there is x in the pot’. Which can be considered as type of angling as he can imply that pot is bigger or smaller than it actually is, thus immorally influencing her action. Pot is in the middle of the table and every player can see and calculate for themselves. And unfortunately for the poker community he is a master in these borderline angles.

I had flush draw on the turn with a jam and everyone was talking 💩 about the jammer to me and I was tanking. I was really 70/30 calling but was TANKING.
