A good filigree design. You are a very good silversmith-artist. Günther Clemenz

    Really nice piece ❤
Laying in a hospital bed watching you today. I don't have much strength to write, so will be mostly likes.
Crushed a lot of my body as a concrete wall broke and fell over me a few days ago. Hope I can do silversmithing again after some months of recovery, so will use the time to learn more from you ❤

Oh my gosh Elin. That is terrible! I'm so sorry that happened, and I hope your recovery is smooth and rapid.

Lovely. The last piece of filigree that I did, I ended up melting it.

I’m sorry to hear that Eric. I do that sort of thing pretty frequently:)

Nice work Chad! Getting close to being back at my bench after moving and traveling… this probably wouldn’t be a first project to get back into it, but will certainly be in the future! Thank you!

    Hey, Chad
I've heard you ask several times for comments and recommendations for ideas and interests. I've had a question ever since I became interested in gemology and making jewelry for which I really haven't found a clear and concise answer. My reason for this question is I want to know I am making the best decision, based upon good judgement, and the knowledge I have learned from those with more experience than me. Obviously, my information would not, and has not, come from one person, but I have gleaned bits here and there, but never an entire answer. OK, so here's my question.
When and why do you use any specific gauge and hardness of (any, silver) wire or sheet?
I hope my question is understandable. If not, please reach out. This matter is very serious to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
