Australian sunscreens I love and continually repurchase are the Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face spf 50 (black tube) and also the Ultra Violette hydrating spf 50. UV has a mattifying one too but it's only spf 30. MC is only available within Australia atm and I'm not sure about the UV one. I've been curious to try Supergoop for a long time because of your videos, Arshia! I definitely need the powder ones for retouching my protection.

I bought sun secure physical sunscreen but leaves a cast and have to use cleansing oil to remove it, tried garner Amber solaire that one stings my eyes. But the two products mentioned versed and cleen are not available in UK

Hi Arshia, I have a question. I always do my makeup an hour before I'm due to leave the house. Does that mean I should skip applying sunscreen under my makeup and just apply a mist or powder SPF 20 mins before leaving the house?
If you put that little amount almost every spf will blend well into the skin. So little spf will not protect your face as it should be. For spf to work, you should be applying a lot more, and there is a challenge.
@@nadiasb2468 Purito has a chemical (centella green level) and a mineral (comfy water) sunscreen. The chemical sunscreen with green box is scented and white box is unscented. I believe there is a scented and unscented version of the mineral sunscreen as well!

@Sha Uday I bought the Colorescience mineral sunscreen for me and my mum. It’s great. They also have a SPF50 Powder version, which is brilliant to use as a top up. Both products are available in different shades too.
Brown girls who want a mineral sunscreen but don’t want tint, try Biossance Squalane + Zinc Sheeer Mineral SPF 30 PA+++. Goes on clear, spreads nicely, and you don’t feel like you’re rubbing your face off to get rid of any white cast. And it is not white around the hairline. As with most mineral sunscreens it will feel a bit greaay at first but it dries down (for me) in about 15 minutes) I’m a touch lighter than Arshia but also have a very yellow undertone and it doesn’t give me a purple or gray cast. Buy through Sephora and it is also cruelty free! It’s a new favorite when I want to slap something on and don’t have a mirror. If I want a a mineral sunscreen (and cruelty free!) with a lovely tint for a tiny bit of coverage my favorite is ELTA MD UV Elements SPF 44 from Dermstore.

I bought the versed sunscreen after watching this and it leaves a white cast and pills upon reapplication (even when I’ve got nothing on my face besides sunscreen, not even moisturizer). In the future I’d suggest you film mineral sunscreen videos by using the actual recommended amount (about 1/4 tsp) as well as show what it looks like with reapplication during the day before saying it doesn’t leave a cast. This is very misleading for your viewers. Pls be mindful about this going forward
that is your experience and you are entitled to that. I have had a very different experience and love the product and that is why i share it. hope that helps.

I apply sunscreen under my makeup. I apply a good layer of SPF50 under makeup and then use a powder SPF to touch up during the day.

to properly remove sunscreen an oil based first cleanse is best. you can even use micellar water and then follow up with your usual cleanser
