''Do the math, and figure out a way to bend your rules...'' Reese is fucking badass. I also love the way he says ''no contingency'', that's the moment I realized he knew the Machine's weak point.
I think this was also the moment when the Machine began to create other teams to deal with other numbers, we only get to see one come back to save the "Primary Assets", but there had to be more.
Yo I never thought of that, Reese unintentionally made it it realize it *could* make more teams.. sad we never saw much of it as you said, but that also means the other teams had times of "why no numbers?" with no way of knowing what was going down in New York XD
I don’t think so. At this point in the series, the machine was still highly restricted. It didn’t get have the ability to communicate outside of cryptic messages through pay phones. That wasn’t enabled until Decima released Finch’s virus in the end of S2.
This is my favorite scene from the entire show. Jim Caviezel's acting was brilliant as always. The look on his face and the concern in his tone made it look like real.
This is it: The long-standing deal with the machine that Reese makes that will have great meaning for the series finale... Those who've seen it know what I'm talking about.
I have seen it but I still don't understand ; This deal had nothing to do with what's happened on the serie final, right ?

This deal is nothing to do with series finale but if you really want a clear theory then read what I'm going to write.. SPOILER The scene where reese and finch gets in the bank in series finale , there's a guy behind them when they are walking through the bank hall and that guy has yellow box on machine's point of view (He's probably nolan btw , but it's just rumor) and in my opinion that guy took reese out of the bank vault and in theory that guy might be thornhill employee (actually strong chance) Then if you come to the point I mean reese makes deal wtih the machine , it's just unknown like every other scenes in season 5. They should've done it better but they had no time I suppose.
@@marjos1989 Listen to what Reese says: he would never continue the job without Finch. Finch always had the Machine set up in such a way that whenever he found the right guy to the job, the Machine would continue sending numbers to that guy (in this case, Reese) without trying to help Finch. So, if this scene never happened, then when tried to sacrifice himself at the end of the series the plan would have been a success. But because of this scene, the Machine knew that Finch's contingency (Reese) wouldn't keep going with the job. And remember, Finch taught the Machine not to help him even when it wanted to. So it was through Reese that the Machine was able to bend the rules and save Finch's life, albeit by helping Reese sacrifice his own life. (Though, the interesting thing about that is that with Reese dead and with Finch believing that the Machine is offline, the new contingency (chosen by the Machine itself) becomes Shaw.)

It's cause those aren't words. It's the phonetic alphabet. Golf = G. Sierra = S. Papa = P. Etc, etc... For a guy like Reese, who had an ambiguously extensive amount of military experience, translating was pretty much automatic. Most people can hold about 6 letters in their short term memory, so it's reasonable to think the characters on this show can hold a lot more.
@@AlwaysSomeone To expand on you short term memory thing. Most people can hold 7 items in STM, +/- 2. However an "item" is rather loosely defined in our brain. A set of 3 numbers could be a single item. Like a phone number. 1234, 567, 890 is 3 "items" allowing you to maximise what you can remember by compressing the list.
@@AlwaysSomeone Reese was a CIA operative, good short memory is one thing that you need to have. ARGO by Ben Afleck is probably one of the most grounded movie on how the CIA operatives really do it in real life.
Because Jim Caviziel played Jesus in The Passion of Christ. The Satanic ruling Elites in Hollyeood and politics hate Jesus, and have interfered with the success of Jim's career for nearly 2 decades. It's very well documented.
The look on Leons face cracks me up. Here is this tough guy, now he taking to this camera!!!!!!! Leon did try to run, but like all bad asses do, If I die I will take him with me no one wins. I'm no pone. Its Harold or nothing at all. Thank you is funny too. Do you think the machine under stood? Chirp
The words are Ayacucho, Golf, Papa, Deterministic, Hotel, Sierra, Camera, Sierra, Kilo. These correspond to the SSN of the POI that the Machine sends Reese to find.
Its the code for the SSN of Hanna Frey, Root's childhood best friend who's disappearance LED Root to become who she is now. Reese and Carter solve her 14 year long disappearance (she was murdered) and find a clue that leads Reese to Finch. At the end of the episode Root calls them to thank Reese for ensuring her old friend got a proper burial and for solving her murder. Reese thought Hanna was Root but she wasn't.

What does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul. Much like the song isn't ironic about a man who wins the lottery and dies the next day.. but see how much less judgemental that approach is and yet it still has a reflective impact.. truth does not belong to the religious.. which is why I said not church, not religion but Jesus and what he did at the cross does. Taking that reality and contemplating upon life's decisions.. being cautious at times and fearless at others.. not using the church as a crutch and oh shit I missed a service off to hell for me. So yes I wanted to protect the innocence of the unbelievers from the religious ways. Those who hold such contempt for anyone who dares to think outside of their rigid ways. I despise it. It doesn't mean you won't make mistakes but that's all a part of being human. When Samaritan can do it already?
Even if this was a real thing, the whole supercomputer, CCTV cameras don’t have microphones 🤣🤣🤣

How do you think it knows when a killing is going to happen with just images? Lol
But, a computer could have a lip reading algorithm... *Mumbles something in a mask*
