MK7 VW Jetta Coolant Sensor Replacement & Location.

Hello, in this video i am showing how to locate and replace the coolant temperature sensor on a 2019 volkswagen jetta gli. this should work for all MK7 jetta trims.

I don't remember to be honest, somewhere next to the radiator or thermostats. Try searching for diagrams online.

If you keep the coolant tank cap on the system is sealed, the coolant shouldn't spill out too much

So did this fix your issue? I noticed my unconditional voltage was 2.8v on that sensor and 0.5 on the one on the block when hot.

what were the symptoms of a bad thermostat because I have the exact same model and unsure because my radiator fan spools fast when i start it up and my auto start stop bugs out

I honestly just had a check engine light that told me I need to replace that sensor.
