Good day Sir, Thanks for your video and this valuable information , Can you help me from your experience. I am planning for new small project for manufacturing plastic ropes but there is a smell and i want to control and treat this smell to avoid disturbance for the near people. Is there are any available cheap filters which may help me to control this bad odor from the chimney. Regards,
Is this for Range hoods.. I can't find the exact fit filter where I am for my range hood to cover the duct opening.. I need something to hold me over until at least Summer
I’m here for the same thing, Australia is sold out on masks & eBay has stupid prices 😫😷😷😷 so iv been googling home made masks & I was thinking about buying some powdered charcoal mix with water, dip in fabric & dry, place inside a lining in the mask ??? But will this work ????? Any tips greatly appreciated 🥰
Kaylan RSMY I just bought 8 sheets of this stuff on eBay 4.1”x9.5” $8 au ... they use it for fish tanks, I can make 50 disposable filters with that ... if we never need it all good but if we do $8 is nothing ... iv got enough fabric & quilt wadding to sink a ship so I better get bust sewing lol 😝 tip, if your making your own masks you can wash them in a solution of vinegar & water seemingly viruses don’t like the alkaline state of vinegar ?
Kaylan RSMY Great 👍 you just need to make masks or line some if you have some, I’m making mine from cotton & quilting batting for extra layers, iv cut the pattern out for my first mask I’ll sew it up tomorrow, but I’ll have to wait for the charcoal lining ... plus iv read to wash them in a vinegar solution as viruses cannot live in an alkaline state, anything is better than sitting here waiting hmmm ... from the videos iv watched activated charcoal doesn’t absorb, it adsorbs meaning to grab onto molecules like viruses 😁 so it sounds good, my first thought was to buy some powdered charcoal mix it with water, dunk in the liner then dry it before placing it into the lining of the mask ... Charcoal is interesting stuff if a child has overdosed in hospital they give them a drink of charcoal powder & water, the charcoal attracts the drugs, adsorbs it & it’s passed through the body safely, iv learnt a lot today lol 😂 ... I truly pray that we will never have to use them but if need be we will be slightly prepared ❤️
Hello Ortho, I had my husband try to track down the company you highlight as selling these sheets of AC, and he had no luck! Could you please check that the company is still in business, or maybe they changed their name? Thanks so much!
@@OrthoLabVideos We got definitely higher prices, that's why I was keen to make a purchase. Maybe I'll try using a postal forwarding service. Ah, that's nice to hear! :) Where in Finland did you visited? I've been thinking about visiting the States as well!
All*Robin my wife and I were on a cruise, and we spent one day in Helsinki. We saw some of the countryside while coming into port. Beautiful. Lovely city.
Lung saving tips! Thank you, bro!

That’s why I like to cut out my own filters from a sheet of activated charcoal filter. It’s less expensive, and it can be cut to fit any size.
I have had a hard time finding one for mine because of the size. I finally found them on D-Mark.
is there a way to clean (restore) charcoal filter?
Will it be posible to make a personal mask with that activated charcoal fabric? 🤔
Girl i see we came here for the same thing. All masks are sold out in Montreal due to fear of Corona

@@terry_kathryn Bruh, funny you're saying that. I got some of that for my own fishtank. I was panning on doing the same thing.

Perhaps there is a company in your area that manufactures activated charcoal filters. By the way I was in Finland last summer - beautiful!
