  • How to Propagate lilies by
Root Division ,How to Make More Calla Lily Plants from One Plant .
    Hi there,
    Today’s video is about propagating
Calla Lily plant through Root Division.
I have a Yellow Calla lily plant which is quite big enough so I am going to divide it’s roots into 3 or 4 parts and planting in separate pots, in this way I will get more plants.
You can divide roots and propagate these plants, within 2 to 3 months they will grow again quite big , just water them when the soil is dry and provide fertilizer every months.
When they have done flowering and leaves have dried out dig out the rhizome and store in saw dust or wrap in newspapers and store in dark place where the temperature is above 50 F or 10 C .
You can replant them in the month of February , they will start growing again in March or April.
    Thanks for watching the video.

Every year the rhizome grows so you have to wait until it gets bigger size, good luck.

Thanks for watching the video, there are two reasons, too much nitrogen in your soil or winter is coming.
