God tests humans but that doesn't mean Bible is the only Truth and the correct representation of this test.
First of all.. coming out the gate..God "Tests" no one, cuz he don't have to, he can read their thoughts.. to know what they'll do and what they won't do, a person always thinks before he does something.. he thinks about it first, secondly.. the word "Test" is a mistranslation, in the manuscript the word used is "Proved" he proved Abraham, got it 😑🕊️
Mainstream Christianity has no idea what persecution really feels like, try being a member of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints and having to put up with Roman Catholic Zealots, Eastern Orthodox Pharisees and Reformationist Protestantism Sadduccees. Try having to put up with the many closed-minded closed canon dogmatic fools of LAMESTREAM Christianity who put all their eggs in the basket of an impure Bible that excludes all other civilizations of the world save the ancient Hebrews alone. same here, sometimes i dont know if i am wrong or i am just sick or the enemy is fighting me. It feels all the same. Shizophrenia is kind of really painful, cause you cant trust yourself. But in the end, its a good opertunity to leave it all behind and trust in Bible, Gods words and his Goodness.

Doesn't have to be. I guess it depends on the person and the values one holds and what that person deems as happiness. Example: Some want to party and do drugs... some don't want to party and do drugs.
The animator who made this is a genius. I love how he depicted the door of God's test surrounded by flames and the one of Satan as a Deep forest. In general, we might think that the Deep forest looks more peaceful and the flames are more attributed to the Devil. However, in this scenario, (from my point of view) God's door with the flames represents the difficulty, the challenges of this test that might burn us at some point but at the end, these flames will become God's glory/holy spirit overwhelming us. On the other hand, Satan's door, which might look easier like a green forest (nothing harmful) is actually the most dangerous one. It shows that the devil has the appearance of being less painful but in reality, that deep forest will cause loss, terror, and despair among those who will enter.

Trust in God is paramount. Like you the fiery doorway is representing a overall theme of the Bible and Gods plan. Easy and wide is the way to damnation while difficult and narrow is the way to salvation. God does not test us for his purposes but our own so that we may grow and benefit from his glory. He has endless souls to use and he chose you to go through with this turmoil.

That imagery and your point just shows the amount of delusion you get into from indoctrination. That you will challenge your proper perception, well being, and safety (as well as others') just for self righteousness and moral superiority. Religious fanatics will go at any lengths to justify their own truth, and that's why there are extremist violent jihad, the crusades, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and religiously justified racial and social hate and divide all over the world.
To add, the psychology of how God needs to test subjects and creations are testimony to how superficial and self-gratifying the nature of the Abrahamic God is. Even just in organizational development that's a show of weak and toxic leadership. What more for a God, that makes the deity sound quite pathetic, insecure, and self-serving.
I've failed so many times and had near death experiences also. I'm starting to learn to Worship and listen to God and become my true self. I put away my idols and I'm winning because through Christ we can do anything!

They are distinct AND one, in a way that transcends our view of reality and invites us to be part of this love community. He was talking to his father in heaven. Jesus was just as human as the rest of us. He was trying to ask his father to come up with a different way, but, in his faith followed what God the father wanted Him to do.

As a teacher, I gave many tests but I tried to make it as easy as possible at first and then the tests became more difficult and complex. I told my students that they needed to learn how to think, analyze and reason.
I'm loving the graphics. Better than the limited amount of graphics I saw as a kid. Because of the technology of this era, I believe children have a much better chance of understanding the Bible. Sometimes I feel helpless when I faced some problems and test in my life and because of that, I choose the wrong decision. Then from watching this video I realize that sometimes, I rely on myself too much instead of relying to God. Praise God.

The people in those situations are there because of sin. Because they, their parents or their leaders they voted for/allow to stay in power, are not following Christ. If they followed Christ, they wouldn't be suffering. Kids also pay for the sins of their parents. Their parents should have left the evil regime country before they had kids. They probably had kids out of wedlock.

Great detail with God’s path being portrayed with fire while false path looks gentle and calm, showing how the devil tries to fool us into following what appears to be the better road, but in fact is the one that leads to fire and destruction. While God’s path, which often seems and might be more painful and destructive at times, leads to a better place.

The last image had me in tears because some decisions in life are difficult and trusting our Lord God to carry us through it can be painful. But once you choose to trust and come out the other side in victory... you can do nothing but praise him and use your victory to bless others.

I seriously love this comment. I agree, with the other comment.. Extremely well said. It at once made me feel super emotional, because the image at the end of the video hit me too. In a conviction kind of way. I have SO many tests happening all at the same time ATM, and I am struggling with it all more and more. I'm also a baby Christian, so trying to trust in Jesus right now is all the more difficult for me. I'm just like, "What else?!"

Our tests is to live day by day with a clear heart, while holding on to our integrity to God, regardless of what comes our way.
One of the most amazing things is how the more tests you pass the easier it becomes to recognize them and trust in God. Often times when im in doubt the Spirit points out the tests I passed in the past and how trusting Him was the right path even when I doubted it. It never becomes easy but it becomes easier to trust and to build your relationship and communication with Yahwe.
If the test was made into a trap by Satan, does it mean he escaped God's control, so God is weak? Or did God make Satan set the trap, so God is evil?
Why would God test his creature? For fun? Like He creates something then He tests it to decide of its fate in the universe? Isn't that petty to say the least? And also, why would He test anything at all if He is all-knowing so that the outcome of the test must already be known to Him?

I am definitely being tested right now. There are so many weird things happening to me that I want answers. So I pray, yet I get no answers, and my doubts grow stronger. So I pray harder, even begging for answers and signs. Even deliberatly looking for signs in anything, till I realise I need to live with the fact that questions will go unanswered and that I simply need to trust God. I say simply, but as an introverted master student, constantly seeking answers of the wonders of the world this is very hard. It's kind of a character flaw of me, the wanting to know it all. It became clear I need to stop worrying and let God take full control and just have faith. This is hard, but my choice is clear, I choose trusting God.
I pray for everyone who face similair trails! Keep the faith, trust God!

Read the book of Job
Where god says “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much."
It shows us to not question god with knowledge ultimately but yet to have stronger faith :)

Yes I agree with @ArthuxxNuke . The Bible Project video on the Book of the Job (as well as parts from the book itself) are incredible with regards to surviving the tests and hardships of life. I highly recommend both the video and the beginning and final chapters of Job. Always reminds me of the awesome power of God and our tiny knowledge in comparison. Take care of yourself!

It is to show your worthiness even though you are given and granted great gifts.
Your willingness to do right or wrong better shows your true intentions under very serious circumstances

What a beautiful telling and animation. It's true, as an atheist I tried to do things my way to live my life trying to succeed without God and failed time and time again. Now as follower of Christ I am living closer to God through Jesus Christ and following His commandments as best I can but I still feel He tests me and I do fail and stumble from time to time but ask my Lord for forgiveness and admit I am a sinner and repent which means (to turn away) from sin. I understand my true Father in heaven the only one who truly loves me unconditionally on earth, tests me because He wants me to be stronger, so I can be a better man worthy of calling myself a follower of Christ. Amen.
Brother "Repent" doesn't mean to turn away from sin, but to change/to turn the other way... there is difference...

also it is fine to be scared don`t beat your self bout it just stop or take a breath and pray for His strength. Every time when you are faced with a test God knows you can do it and he also invites you to ask for his strength to use it when the tests come.
The beauty of that is, if you listen to the stories he quoted (and read them, Genesis and Exodus are fantastic) is that God will adapt to our failures. Although we continue to fail he redirects the path to give us another opportunity to get back in right standing with him. Thanks be to Jesus!

Let God love one you through his word. Surrender your mind and heart to it through Christ. Christian Psychologist Henry Cloud states that humans are better at “becoming righteous” because of love rather than because of rules. Jesus transcends the law. And we can if we simply surrender to Him.

I was 5 years of chronic illness. Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation.
But God did an amazing work. And if he can do this, he can do it in you also. 😇🙏

When we look at it, the fire seems dangerous, terrifying, or painful... Yet, when we trust in God it refines, cleanses, and creates life in us!
