ANIMATED MANDALA TUTORIAL

I think this is my most requested topic! Ever since I shared animated mandalas as inspiration in some of my illustrator tutorials a few years ago many of you have asked for this.
In this video I break down the techniques and tools I use to make these animated mandalas. I start in Illustrator and detail my process for setting up the original mandala artwork before jumping into after effects and bringing it to life.
The key techniques covered in After Effects include;
- Basic keyframing
- Creating easy ease keyframes
- Converting Ai files into shape layers
- Using trim paths effect
- Basic rotation and scale transformations.
