A little bit of a sad end, but he has had a good life on the farm, I am sure that will show through in the meat for the lucky ones who buy it. Keep up the good work Tom and family.
Great video Tom. Like the way you tackled the subject head on. I think it's important that people understand that beef doesn't magically arrive on our plates. Mice one

Wow that was almost go pro number...... gone to heaven. If you find the foot bath too big for new parlour there is a mat you can get from a company but don't know if it does everything you want.
Great video as always Tom it’s really great to see the beef cattle go through the farm shop it’s proper traceably and no one can argue where the meat has come from and catch up videos as always a good watch 👏👏👍👍
I had a small single suckler heard, 36 cows, a south Devon bull, the calf's was beautiful and got strong fast. But I always took cake in the summer, they always come running to me. I agree 💯% with you
That’s made me sad 😞 I know it’s part of farm life and I don’t disagree with it but junior was cool he had a lovely character and this is the reason I couldn’t run a farm I’d never want to get rid of any of them especially once you name them as it makes them hard to eat bless him ❤
Well done Tom Ginger guy and Luke good to see Junior had a stress free life and wasn't driven all around the country I'd like to bet his beef will be much better than factory reared 👍
Tradesmen just love going to farms to work. Guy comes to move the foot bath and it caked in 3” of cow shit ( that’s why it was heavier than when it went in Tom!) you could have at least power washed it off a day before! Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind abut if shit about but not where you are trying to work!
I wish I had a farm like yours offering the quality of fresh raised & butchered/produced meat etc on site as well! Seeing how much you've upgraded, changed and added to the farm over the years is impressive! The animals, machines, tractors, buildings & structures and even the land/grass is so much better & more impressive since I found your channel a few years ago. Even though the highlands are stunning, somewhat friendly & a Great species to keep, they are there for a reason & purpose just like everything and one else on the farm! Wish I had a market or a farm/butcher near where I live in the new england part of the United States that offered farm to table fresh Angus etc beef, ive been dying to try the highland steaks, roast etc since seeing/hearing about it on your channel!
Even though you are making things easier for yourself and your dad, it seems that there is so much more you are doing it’s hard to get my head around it all. I don’t think you can slow down, you’re a excellent farmer, shades of your dad.

When you're talking in the tractor especially the older one( that's really noisy) we can't hear everything you are saying. You talk fast, but a mic near your face would do world off good.
