I'm so sorry about the loss of the cow. I know it's a part of farming, but it's sad to lose such a good animal. I love your channel because you have the neatest farm!!!! And I love how you fix things, not with some wire and duct tape, but really fix them!!! I know your Dad is proud of you looking down!
Adrian what about putting wee bales of straw in the new loft and kick a few down into the calving pen as you need them. Save space and save building a shed for straw. Great video as always my young fellas love watching 🚜
I understand where you are coming from I lost my wife unexpectedly the end of November. I find mornings hard when getting my breakfast. Then staying up late so I fall asleep reasonable quick. Something I have to learn to live with. At least the dog gives me a reason to get up in the mornings. Thinking of you.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful 2025. I can't tell you how much you've helped my hubby, simply from sharing your own struggles and encouraging talking. Please don't ever stop doing what you're doing and being who you are. 🍻

Hi Adrian, you keep it real, are a problem solver and have that 'can do' attitude to fixing issues. It is generous of you to share your experience with people, that is why I follow you. Something can always be learned from the ups and the downs.
Adrian you have such care, compassion and empathy when speaking, that people are drawn to you no matter what you are talking about. Love and prayers to you and your family for 2025, all I can say is that it does get a little easier as time goes by and your father will ALWAYS be in your thoughts and hearts. 🥰
I have found the grief we hold in our hearts never gets smaller but as we grow older our ability to love increases eclipsing the grief, just wait till you meet your next newborn niece/nephew/godchild or a grandchild, that extra love will spill right up your throat and out your eyes. X

Good to here the collars are working. I'm thinking about them, a lot of repeats here to first service the year. Leave the digger till some warm weather lands . Hope you have a good safe calving season. Not nice for the first to go that way but better days to come
Adrian, I’m an Irishman abroad, Dublin, but we had a lot of farming in our family, I have to say, for me, this is a refreshing time to spend enjoying a little of “real” Ireland, love it in fact. I lost the father 15 year back, and it gets a little easier. The very best to you and your family in 2025!
Mate farming is tough it’s hard to lose animals my dad always said may the bad luck of the year go with them .he has been gone 21 years it doesn’t seem that long I miss him . The day he went off to hospital in the ambulance he was instructing my brother to go pick up some heifers. Farmer to the end . Love the Chanel .I pray for your strength to live with the loss of your dad the void in the heart never leaves but memories are wonderful as time goes by
Blwyddyn newydd dda 🏴. I been watching from the start. I’m a builder not farmer but really enjoy watching you work. Wish you and your family all the best for 2025.
It is very sad to have lost an animal, but I am relieved that you were not injured Adrian. I hope that 2025 will be kinder to you and your family and the farm prosperous and enjoy further success. The most important of all, that your family enjoy good health.
every blessing on you and your family!! I came to see the cottage renovation and stayed to enjoy the Irish banter and your enthusiasm for life. Your description of mornings and evenings resonated with me for similar reasons.
Bless you Adrian and all your lovely family. Sorry about your cow. I hope 2025 is a good year for all of you. You will have many days where your dad will flash into your mind Adrian, but eventually you will come to feel it as a nice feeling but always sad. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Around here there's an old meth when there's a loss in the family you can expect strange losses on the farm it happened to us the year or father passed they say they don't like going empty handed . Just keep the head up do your best and it all works out.
Hi Adrian kathleen and I are so sorry for your loss. I know that you and your father were very close and that makes for a greater sadness and grief.on the 12thJanuary Ashling will be 3years gone and our grief has not got any easier.that’s the price of love ❤wishing you and your family a happy new year, best regards Ray Murphy Blueball Tullamore
Your channel is growing because it's down to earth with day to day life that plenty of people can relate to. The effort that you put in to sharing the good, bad and wide variety of life on the farm is appreciated. Best wishes to you and your family for the New Year ahead
Thank you for sharing the realities of farming, I'm sorry for your loss of your poor cow, but happy to hear you and the calf weren't injured. I hope you have a much better 2025, 2024 was tough for a lot of people
All the best to you and your family, Adrian, as we move into the New Year. I found your channel a while ago and really enjoy the genuine glimpse you provide into your farm and family. It's the people we can connect with, even as tenuous as the virtual UA-cam link may be, that give the reason why myself and so many others look forward to your content. YOU are the reason for your channel succeeding. 😊 And the rest of us cheering from the sidelines from all over the globe. My sincere appreciation for your efforts to show us a window into the 'good, bad, and ugly' that goes along with dairy farming and everything that entails. I'm so very sorry about the loss of the cow on top of everything else that has happened these last few months. I'll be remembering your Dad at church today in our prayers of the people. Virtual hugs to your family from here in Summerville, South Carolina. 💞
My first video watching you was a video of the cottage. I was drawn to your channel because you take me back to my childhood where I lived next door to a small one-man dairy. At age 9 me and my two brothers spent so much time there. I see a glimpse of my childhood in your videos, especially you working with your girls. I look forward to the next year to see what is coming.
I’m a dairy farmer here in the U.S. Parents immigrated from Holland and eventually started dairy farming in 1963. Mom passed away the day before Christmas Eve, she was 87. Her name was Antje (Ann) we are finding out how hard it is to lose a parent. Especially hard for my dad (91)
Hope you have a great new year. You and your lovely Family. Thank you for all your hard work And all Farmers who work so hard for us all. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Always enjoy the videos you produce Adrian. You sharing the details of your farming operation show the importance of food production. Thank you for sharing.🐄🐄
Thank you for all your videos in 2024. Looking forward to more of the same in 2025. It has been a pleasure watching your videos and following you on your UA-cam journey
We all keep going and do the best we can in our own way, time moves on and we find things a little easier, but we never forget and would not wish to do so. Your vids do help others going through difficult times 🙏Bless you and your family. 👍2025
Adrian sorry about you loosing one of your best cows that’s another blow to add to the list of experience. I completely get how you are feeling lots of things will constantly remind you how things were but time will realise into how things are and when that happens to me now I’m truly grateful to still have those wonderful memories and if I close my eyes I can still picture the scene. I honestly see it as a blessing and I hope that you will too. Seeing them in my mind brings me comfort 🙏. I suppose farming is a life and death business and always will be but it must be very tough for those that undertake it. Best wishes for 2025 to the whole Moore family 😘
Hi Adrian I'm sorry to learn of the sudden loss of your cow, your problem lys in your calving pen / highly exposed to the elements can lead to a sudden shock to the system, especially after calving / ketosis 🥶 🥶 'Heat's half Meat' 🔥 🐄
Thank you Adrian for sharing so much of your life and work. It is truly an education for us all who watch - and it is deeply appreciated. Sharing your personal circumstances has been touching and even although we are still at some distance, you have touched hearts and lives. I am praying at present for a blessing on you and your family for 2025 and onwards. God bless.
Happy New Year to you and yours Adrian. A very tough year for your family with a real gut punch to end the year. You'll be back this year stronger than before and your Father will be with you every step of the way. God Bless.
Comes across as a lovely man, very level in what he says and does, have livestock myself sheep. and you have days like that unfortunately, Have a good 2025, I know 24 was difficult, Happy New year Adrian
I came across your channel a few years ago. Your real, positive down-to- earth approach to life (showing the good and the not so good) struck a chord. From then 'till now, the same holds true. All the best to your family in 2025🎉 🇨🇦 !
You are really lucky to not have been injured we that cow fell on you. Such a shock when something like that happens. Such a shame to lose a cow like that but at least the calf survived and is looking healthy. Your channel is doing well because of you and the way you come across on screen Your content is varied and interesting plus honest. I also think there is a lot more interest in farming due to everything going on in the UK at the minute. I think content like yours is doing a lot to educate people into what goes into producing milk in your case. I hope 2025 is a good year for you and your family. Stay safe.
Adrian I love your ethics, hard work and no drama with other channels. I know it’s hard for you at the moment but I will continue to support you. 2025 will get better x
Thanks for sharing Adrian with loss of your cow, i been dairy farming since finishing high school n i am still learning. With workers under my management at night i try teach them about checking on cows, how important to pack them, grab calf n tube it. Boss cows calved out in the open paddock, calving all year round winter can be tough even in Australia. Recently i had young cows go down with milk fever, packing young cows that i never had done before wondering why they were going down. Springer cows were getting right amount of feed, i ask feed manager to do test on all the feed, found hay had in balanced of potassium.
At calving times, internal bleeding can be very prevalent and is always worth checking. To pack the area with cotton wool can aid in clotting and save the cow. This method has worked on two occasions for me.
You are not alone Adrian. We all have times where the person that has passed comes to our thoughts and it will make you sad. For me that’s a reminder of how important that person was in my life. Time will not heal the loss but it will make it easier to move forward. With everything that has happened do not let it stop you from moving forward. All the best in the new year. Thanks for taking us along.
So sorry to here of the loss of your cow, as well as being a shock sounds like you were really lucky. And the calf looks really healthy, which I have no doubt is down to you and your families care and attention. 👍
I hope that you will share with us a video clip of the cow that died. My father has been following the channel for a long time, and he asks you to upload a short video of the cow falling, as he expresses his respect for you and your family. This is an aspect of the difficult life of a farmer. From my point of view, it must be shared to give the viewer a view that life is difficult if you do not have courage, and it is not the same as it is on social media sites (fun all the time) Managing a dairy project is one of the most difficult professions, especially if one person is managing the farm Greetings, appreciation and thanks for your tremendous efforts, leader
What an experience with your cow! You definitely had an angel watching over you that day. It would have been interesting and educational to see, but I definitely understand and respect why you do not show it. I'm surprised your vet didn't notice the lack of color in her gums or eyes. You stay strong, you will find your new normal as time goes on. You are going to have a lot of firsts happening this year. But know you are not alone, your angel will be walking with you. Peace to you Adrian, I will continue to pray for you and your family.
All the best for 2025😊 times when one might feel abit down, remember to talk to someone, a friend ore family, even someone at the store…really important😊 Again, all the best for 2025, keep up the good work😊
Sucky way to begin the year Adrian but very thankful you were able to escape injury and the calf seems healthy! Here's to a positive, prosperous, healthy year for you, your family and your farm! My prayers for your Mom.
Your videos are so informative, you explain things so that people with no farming background can understand, I am looking forward to your 2025 videos and you getting the digger going. All the best to you and your family for 2025
Adrian, sorry to hear the loss of your animal, definitely a tough start . Wishing yourself Sinéad and the girls and all your family the very best in 2025. Enjoy watching your videos, great content and well presented. 👍🏼👍🏼
Looking at u for a while now and u come across as a genuine honest hard working man .Dat s coming from ordinary non farmer person wish u the best in 2025
I lost a cow in a similar situation caved and a few days later was not looking great got the vet out got her up on her feet and vet was just taking her temp she just dropped dead he was as shocked as I was the cow didn't look that sick
Thank god you were ok adrian very lucky escape for yourself happy new year adrian .i know its not a year like every other all i can say is your dad is always with you to keep you on your toes .
I'm sorry you lost the cow. I follow you from Brisbane Australia, I'm originally from a dairy farm in Co Derry. I hope and pray that the incoming freeze will not effect the new calfs to much.
Great video as usual Adrian. Tough about the cow, you had a close call yourself! I often use 2.5mm rod for lighter rusty work. Thank you for all your videos in 2024, top man 👏
Life's full of bad knocks and disappointments but we just have too keep dusting ourselves off and telling our selves it will get better...I guess this is why it's so important to communicate and why so many farmers who are isolated and haven't near neighbours and family feel so alone and that things are useless and the other dear thoughts that goes with it.... only yesterday my main farm dog had a freak accident and is currently at the vets having had a broken rear leg that's been to plate .... you feel so helpless but all you can do is hope and try to do your best moving forward....
Good evening, Adrian. Yes, it's not the best start to calfing, but hopefully, it's all good from now on. It's good to c how much care you take in getting the calfing pens and stuff ready for use . I like watching your videos as you are a great advert to farming and very honest. All the best for the calfing
Your a good man . I've only recently started watching but what you said about the getting up in morning and going to bed late . That was like you were talking to me . I'm a dairy farmers aswell an after I've fully woken up I'm always telling myself off for not being straight at it
I'm glad you didn't get hurt badly when the cow fell down. When a cow falls on top of you, you know how heavy they are. Any daughters of the cow in the herd? Take care and take time for you and your family.
Bless you, what a tough end to the year for you all. Not bottling things up and being honest to yourself will help in time. You are strong enough, have lots of support around you and lots sending our support through here to you. Just to strong enough to ask when you want help, and not wait until you need it. I wish you continued strength to move through this. By facing these challenges now, you are dealing with them and that will help your ability to cope and not get overwhelmed. Xx
Another great video Adrian, they say time is a great healer and it's only after 35years since my dad passed unexpectedly that I really know what it really means. One of your videos where it showed you working with your dad and you only a very young man brought back so much memories for me at that time but it gave me so much solace ,so don't be afraid to talk about how you feel ,it will help so many and remember you have a life time of memories of your dad and the values he taught you and no doubt you will pa'ss them on to the next generation.happy new year to you and your family.
Your channel is growing Adrian because you’re good, honest and hard working.
Mayor of Dipshittery! Makes me smile.

Love your channel. What a great family making a difference in the community.
Great share Adrian, tough year for your family. A pity about the cow, but an internal bleed is hard to detect untill it is too late.

Happy new year to all your family and Good health and happy ness .
Great video Adrian all the best for 2025
Thank you Adrian for sharing your wonderful video with us, the high, and the lows, sending lots of Love and big hugs to you and your lovely family ❤
I love watching your channel, you have a lovely farm,a lovely family and you work so hard, keep going Adrian
Time will help with the healing keep up the great work
I say at the lambing that problems always come at the start and at the end. Glad you weren't hurt.

Again, all the best for 2025, keep up the good work😊
A pity you lost a good cow but you weren't hurt and that's the main thing. Grieve in your own way and time. Regards Rita G

All the best to you and your family for 2025
Thanks Adrian. I wish you all the best. Greetings of a Belgium (Bleu😂) farmer

Thank you for all your videos in 2024, top man 👏
Yes 2.5mm would work better for sure, i usually only carry 3.2mm rods for the heavier stuff. Thanks David
Keep your chin up Adrian, better days are coming, just don't hold it in and let it eat at you! Sending prayers from across the pond.
Your a good man . I've only recently started watching but what you said about the getting up in morning and going to bed late . That was like you were talking to me . I'm a dairy farmers aswell an after I've fully woken up I'm always telling myself off for not being straight at it
Love your channel and all the content you do Adrian, and all the best for 2025 (sorry to hear about the cow)
Adrian you will be glad to see the back of 2024 hard one .
Happy new year Adrian and family
I'm glad you didn't get hurt badly when the cow fell down. When a cow falls on top of you, you know how heavy they are. Any daughters of the cow in the herd? Take care and take time for you and your family.
We had a limousin bullock in September died and took a lot out of us, kept up the good work and happy new year🎉
Bless you, what a tough end to the year for you all.
You make great realistic videos and that’s great if you see a robin looking at you that the boss keeping an eye on you good luck in 25
