Prince Edward County - We explored and cooked!

- Join us on a road trip, day trip adventure to Prince Edward County, Ontario. We'll show you how we grill perfect steaks and brew delicious espresso, waterside, on our picnic at the edge of a georgeous Ontario provincial park shoreline. We take our shoes off to walk on the sand along the world’s largest freshwater bay-mouth dune barrier formation. We take a shot at riding a tandem bike and Liz proves how much she loves me as she trusts me to take the front seat and steering control. We quench our thirst and play a BIG game with no clear winner. Liz won. We take a leisurely pontoon ride on Picton Bay for a water-to-land view of Picton. Next we pause to contemplate the mysterious Lake on the Mountain--how does it get replenished with fresh water? And finally, we cozy up next to a fireplace for a loverly dinner before heading home to fall asleep and dream about returning and planning our next outdoor cooking and adventure day trip.

Awwww! Thanks so much! We cooked by the water at a quiet park on a weekday. Never made it for a swim. But it’s a super popular place, I assume there will be crowds.
