Zeb's MK7.5 GTI gets a Shuenk IS38+ turbo // BMP Tuning

- Zeb's car got quite the upgrade this week! Shuenk turbo sent us over this fresh IS38+ Hybrid turbo for his car, so we threw that on along with a downpipe and tune from integrated engineering, and this thing makes some serious jam! This is also another taste of what the @cobbtuning titanium exhaust for the MK7.5 sounds like with a downpipe! (sound clips towards the end)

IE Intake sounds lovely too. Sounds like that thing does nothing but spin 1st and 2nd 😂

HOW has this been holding up? I have been thinking about going with the HPA upgrade since my wastegate on my is20 is on its last leg it seems
It’s still going without issue - Zeb daily’s it :)
go with Garrett 2260, superior in every way, comes w the inlet and has been around for 70 years, more flow too and IE has a tune for it

Really wanted to see how you prime the turbo with out getting fuel and ignition is it by pulling fuses and cranking the car ?
We'd have to ask our tech for specifics on what he prefers and why - but in short there are multiple ways to achieve the same thing, unplugging the coilpacks/injectors is another option!
@@BMPTuning right but you don’t wanna do that you will have no ignition and would flood the pistons with fuel I think pulling the fuel relay fuse and coil pack connectors would achieve this that way only the fuel pump will be priming

How much louder did the down pipe make the exhaust?

I’m not straight piping anything was thinking about the titanium exhaust with either a track slag 4.0” or CTS 3.5” downpipe with an EQT Vortex Turbo. If this set-up is that loud I’ll just run the down pipe with the stock exhaust
