Totally thanks to you guys for the cendol recommendation, we love it!!! Glad you guys had a great experience at that dim sum restaurant. It's such a gem 😄
Interesting to see you back in Ipoh . I was there last week and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful food and drink. A word of caution -- I let my guard down as a result of the kindness of the local residents and got badly ripped off at the Yee Lok restaurant on Jalan Raja Musa Aziz. Most of the staff are fine BUT the man who works in the stall at the front ( at night time ) was so dishonest . It is a pity that one bad apple can leave dark memories !
Thank you, Puri and Sue! Lovely to see you both looking happy and wonderful. I love this delicious video, which we will surely visit in our next visit to Malaysia soon, God willing! Thank you, stay well and happy as always
I am a new subscriber to your channel. Your blog is very informative and helpful guide for visitors to Ipoh, as you include Google maps of the locations of the restaurant. We will be visiting Ipoh and Penang in Nov 2023 for 8 days and we use all your recommendation to guide us. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Very comprehensive show, love the direction of food review and the address given but next time can it stay longer so i can write it down for old people like us.Thanks.
Thank you so much for the compliments 💕 ☺️ We do share all the addresses and locations in the description for easy reference 😁 Thanks and hope you have a great day ahead!
For anyone sharp enough, notice the detail of the toast? No kaya. The purist's recipe. Remember Singapore? There's no accounting for taste. But Singapore is good for gwailos and tourists.
Welcome to Ipoh! But the Sin Yoon Loong coffee not sure if their coffee is improve or not because the last time I went there it doesn't taste good. Ooo.. Pickled chilli with chee cheong fun is not a thing in KL? Chee cheong fun in Ipoh are usually with chinese mushroom sauce, curry sauce, with curry pig skin or dry with soy sauce + sweet sauce. That curry mee is so good, it's been a long time since I went there. The beef noodles!
Yeah the chee Cheong fun here in KL is usually with sweet sauce (Tim Jeong) and Chilly sauce. We love the version in Ipoh too! We're also surprised Penang has the har gow (prawn paste) on their Chee Cheong fun! Looks like different state has their own take to CCF!
Love your videos!!! We reside in Canada and planning to visit Malaysia next year. We will first book a hotel to stay in KL for a few days on arrival. We won't be renting a car to drive as we are in our late 60s. Could you give us recommendations as what is the best, easiest and safest way for us to hop from KL to Ipoh, Penang, Melaka, Kuching and Sarawak to visit for a 3 days 2 night stay in each place? Any advise will be much appreciated.
Hi Alex, most eateries would be close at that hour. We haven't been out in Ipoh late at night during our visits, so we're not too sure which restaurants would still be open during that time.
I really like this video, i also plan to travel to ipoh. Can i ask how many hours approximately did you guys spend in the culture and leisure place? So i can plan my itinerary. Thx lot
It's much easier to get around Ipoh old town/city centre by Grab especially on weekends due to the scarcity of parking. It covers most attractions around the city

How did you guys get transport back to the hotel from Tong Sui Kai? Do they have a Taxi stand nearby?
Hi. We booked a Grab car back via mobile app directly from Tong Sui Kai.
What is the payment method for Grab car in Malaysia? Is it okay to pay cash to the driver in Grab Car?
Hi there, yes you can pay cash in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR)
Thank you!😊
Love your videos!!!

Hi puri and sue. May I know which website u guys use to book the room?
Hi there! We booked through Agoda for Travelodge Ipoh 😁
Hi Puri and Sue , wonder if there's still food to eat after 11pm in Ipoh? Please advise. Thanks.
Hi Alex, most eateries would be close at that hour. We haven't been out in Ipoh late at night during our visits, so we're not too sure which restaurants would still be open during that time.
says part 2 but reuses some from part 1 with some extension, wait not even some majority of it from part 1
I really like this video, i also plan to travel to ipoh. Can i ask how many hours approximately did you guys spend in the culture and leisure place? So i can plan my itinerary. Thx lot
