Yes sir another salesman helped me when I showed up said he was waiting for an appointment when he plugged my number into the system her counter got a ping that I was her lead she called me right back and was mad he turned me away and said I was her lead so she gets me
i'm #52 - can't believe you've got such a great video with so few zubbbs - i once had a 5 year old channel with 255 subbbs and never a video ever - just hung out in some live chats
love your video - you told us everything we would ever want to know about buying one of these - and YT knows i was playing around with the idea - the add ons the inventory the competition - here in CA USA - the honda dealers only have the most expensive models on the lot
I’m gonna do full walkaround an go into detail just haven’t had the time! Had the same problem here dealers only have higher trims here and they are marked up I was lucky to find a base trim like I wanted in my area! Keep patience you’ll find one soon I also did build and price on Honda website and put my email in so they notified me first when it was in stock out I can go into the dealership and order one too!
Big accomplishment right there, congrats! :3 I've never bought a new car before, but I've bought a few low mileage cars off of government auctions for really cheap. Police Interceptors. One is a 2011 P71 Crown Victoria detective's car with 87k miles ($2,500), and the other is a 2014 Explorer Police Interceptor with 113k miles ($3,700). They're still running perfectly fine today! Only thing is you have to save up cash. But if I really wanted to, I can buy a brand new car. I have 4 years of good credit history, I just haven't really used it yet. Age 23 here.
If you take good care of the car, your health, your financial decisions, and life choices, and your career, then I can envision that the Civic can last you 10-12 years and by the age of 35+ you will be driving the luxury version of cars. My first car was 1998 used Accord, then 2006 Civic Ex, 2011 Infiniti Ex, 2018 MB GLC300, and 2021 Acura RDX. Once you go cross-over SUV, you can never get back to sedan. But then I enjoyed the Accord and Civic at my young adult age, where I had many gals and pals with me going places for dinner and amusement parks.
That is the exact black civic lx sedan I was thinking of buying in the eastern USA. Actually $32,689 Canadian is not bad cause It comes out in American dollars to around $23,266 . The MSRP here before state tax is $25, 345 and with my state tax comes to around $27,000 bucks so you got yours at around $3700 .00 under total MSRP in USA dollars . You said 32,889 but I think the sticker read $32689 so I went with that. And also some extras like that heater are not required here cause I'm almost in the southeast and not anywhere near Canada. I think Canada probably gets one a better deal than here. The LX sedan here is a quick sell and they don't have many while the more expensive sport is always in stock.
Wow that’s a lot of sale taxes 37,000 is a lot ! Almost as much as the highest trim model here ours is 40k plus tax for the sport hybrid touring model! Keep shopping around might be able to get one cheaper ! Good luck!
@@trixie9867 yes very stupid package name and wasn’t happy I couldn’t decline it but it’s been month and it’s the cheapest in the province ( state) other dealers are asking thousands over what I paid so it’s okay
I simply walked out the door.. got a follow up emails automatically saying we’d like anything to earn ur business responded back saying the price.. didn’t get any emails back.. got a call back from the sales rep asking how the hunt was going I said good.. got a call back after that maybe a day or so later saying the interest rates have dropped from 7.5 or 7.99 to 3.99-5.99% depending on the trim asked her to get me at 32,000 flat the manager declined.. so I bite the bullet and paid 32,689 I watched a lot of deliverd on UA-cam and went in with his sales tactic but they didn’t budge at all I ask from the dealer invoice and Honda hold back for them selling the car etc but the manager got pissed I knew all that lol
Here too! Used honda like 2018 2019 2020 people are asking close to 30k for clean title no hail so makes no sense going with used when a new one is 32k out the door
i've been watching the FBI hostage negotiator in preparation for maybe buying a new car soon - he said that he teaches skills great for life in general not just buying a car - so i try to watch a little here and there
Im curious, as an owner of a second hand 2013 lx, why did you go with the LX when buying new? Also dude I couldn't finish the video 90% of it is upside down, swirling, or sideways.
Hey sorry yea I was holding the go pro in my hand so it kept flipping but I tried my best to edit most of it so it was only flipped upside down for 3-4 mins of the 23 mins. I went with LX just because of resell value and reliability
Why not the Sport at least? LX is basic and cheap looking comparitively, imo. And you don't need to wait for it to warm up. That's a waste and takes forever. Just drive relatively conservitive till it goes away.
@@Boosted403 but you said the dealer said there was more room to bring down the price on the Sports, and you paid for extra stuff on the base model. Would the be difference that big?
wow that sales lady was heavy duty - 'you didn't read my emails' she was really in your business

Congratulations man big accomplishment there, Get it checked for the steering wheel recall
Thank you!! Yes I just heard of the steering recall ! Thank you
Congrats! Hondas are some of the best cars on the market take care of it and it will take care of you
Wow black looks so clean!congrats !

Man Nice video. However your camera work is all over the place, not easy to see things when you and the car are upside down lol
Yes I tried to hold the go pro by hand and it kept flipping upside down! I’m gonna buy a holder for it!
Congratulations

I bought one too mine is the sport sport great looking car n if I do good mods even better car
I'm really considering buying the new civic si. But I will miss some of the features that my accord exl has that the si wouldn't.
if you do buy the SI - be carful not to burn out the clutch - i saw a new one in the service dept and the cost was mentioned to me $$$
what a wildly popular video - more views that the Audi TT and more than the SRT8 and even more than snoopydogy
I paid for UA-cam promo
here at San Leandro Honda there is a 2014 civic for $20k USD - i think maybe 60k mi... the used car market is brutal

I’d watch deliverd on UA-cam he’s a solid guy with great tactic and calls dealerships and does live negotiations
Am wondering, with the reviews don't you think the hybrid would have been a better deal if they were willing to discount it.
@@philipbugala i meant the sport model not hybrid not much difference on that one and the LX

Maybe if I can afford more later
Why not the Sport Touring Hybrid? sport is basic and cheap looking comparatively

Upside down and sideways ---> 💯% unwatchable
First time using a go pro tried to edit most of it only stays upside down for about 1 min sorry
