    Thanks for making this video! If this was your first time doing a project like this, in retrospect, is there anything that you would do differently the next time? I know that sometimes we often think afterwards, “man, I should’ve done this, or changed that!”.
    You did a great job and I really enjoyed the process!

    • @TheInkhousecustoms
      @TheInkhousecustoms  3 роки тому +7

      @Greg Whaley yeah was the first time building a custom wheel, but me being a artist first and a car guy after, iv taken on plenty of projects that was basically the same concept. There are plenty of ways to approach this type of project. Would I change how iv done it 🤔 NOPE! Would I try another method in the future 🤔 MAYBE! I myself was looking for some type of video on youtube about making wheels and some was just basic wooden wheel or with a process so technical makes you think twice about doing it. So this was bare bone understanding of how to accomplish something like this. Thanks for the comment 👍🏽 I appreciate it!! 💯

    Amazing video and work! I was wondering if you had any issues over the years of delamination of any carbon laminated parts like this? Do you post cure at certain temps? Ive been reading a lot of carbon skining and people saying with out post curing it will delaminate from the heat on a hot summer day. Would love to try this but dont want to have to re do it if it goes bad i appreciate any and all tips!

    • @TheInkhousecustoms
      @TheInkhousecustoms  Місяць тому

      It held up pretty well, only part I have problems was the horn area where the vinyl peeled up. Other than that, there shouldn't be no reasons for any delamination. The laminate goes all the way around. The only thing would be if you don't prep the surface before starting your wheel. That wheel should be decreased and scuffed before any work is started.
