Okay first of all , YOURE AMAZING. I’ve been wanting a custom carbon fiber steering wheel for my car but the prices are like $600-$1600. I have a Honda I’m not paying that LOL. Now I’ll be able to do it myself. You deserve a million subscribers. Wish you a very prosperous 2020. Tomorrow I’m going to the junkyard and getting a second steering wheel 🦾

For any one starting carbon work and is serious in it take a few extra bucks and buy a inexpensive vac pump and some bagging materials along with some release film. This will make your work much easier. For very complex parts that you are trying to laminate to a little cheat trick is wet down the surface first with epoxy and wait until its very tacky then apply cloth. This will keep the inside corners or wrap in place. Some beginners use a very light coat of 3m spray adhesive and stick cloth to that then wet down with epoxy. When i first started I did a few boat hulls this way and it actually worked very well.
To ECO LAB thanks for your dedication and hard work. I know first hand its not easy to du these tasks let alone recording step by step. Hope you are safe and well thanks.

As an instructional video, pretty good.
For entertainment, a little disappointing since we basically didn't get a final product shot...the last 3 cuts were super fast and none showed the whole finished wheel.

      Hello, Buddy!
I bought materials from a Korean online shop.
However, Korean online shops do not ship overseas.
So I'm going to show you an online shop in the UK.
Maybe you can find what you want.
Also, if you want skinning, I recommend 240g carbon fiber cloth.

I want to modify the thumb grips, what material do you think I would need in order to get that squishy material that are used in stock steering wheels.

    Hey Buddy! At first....great video(s) :)
It would be great if you show us more above the laying of the carbonfiber it selfe :) like how you push it on the part, how you cut it an how you press it against and around the part it self :)
I work by my selfe a few month with carbon fibre an still have problems with edges and corners (the carbonfibre wouldn't lay flat on the surface of my parts...)
The tip with the shrinking foile is great! So simple and usefull at the same time!
Looking forward for your next videos 😊🤙🏼
I hope you can show more of how you lay your carbon fibre :)
At this moment i am making the interior parts of my BMW F31 :) (the problems there are on the parts where the vents sit in...)
    Have a nice week!

PS: where do you come from?

      Hello, Buddy!
I can guess what you are talking about when layering.
I think it is very important to layer the carbon fiber when the gelcoat is slightly cured.
If you layer carbon fiber cloth when gelcoat is some sticky, You can layer carbon fiber cleanly.
If the carbon fibers are not layered cleanly, you can apply acetone slightly to fix them.
I will make a video by reflecting what you want in the next video.
I live in South Korea and I also have a BMW.
If you have a chance, I will make BMW parts!
      Thank you for watching!
