When you put that much work into repairing an old car it becomes a keeper. You will enjoy driving it for a long time.

Re removing insulation/sound deadening. Sarah-N-Tuned used crushed dry ice (CO2) to freeze the layer. This made it very brittle and it was then easily removed by chipping with a screwdriver or scraper.

Great to see progress continues to be made. Keep it up. Look forward to seeing paint go on. I've done the welding and some priming on mine, but as it's getting cold and damp I've left the body for now and am straightening and polishing chrome and doing similar work. It has to be done eventually so I may as well do it now in my warm basement, and then it'll be ready to screw on after the paint has been applied and buffed. I wonder which Amazon will be driving first - yours or mine?

I don't know either but it's below 10 degrees celcius here and it haven't not rained here for weeks. I really want her painted before the 1st of January but i don't know..

Well, the last bit of underseal of the backseat quarter is a bit pot markt, tin or LED will fill those in, or go with syntectic filler. 😐

The next step? How about a little break? Take some time, do something different, relax, you deserve it.
