Looks good! I think those little tabs/holes are for the machinery that positions and holds the panels during assembly to have something to hold onto, perhaps also they work as drain holes for the cleaning solvent and primer as the body shell is dipped as it goes down the assembly line. Later they are unfortunately where rust starts. On mine I replaced the front and rear driver's side floor boards, but the passenger side was fine. I cleaned down to the bare metal also, but relied on seam sealer from the top and undercoating from the bottom to close the holes. Welding them closed might be overkill, but it certainly can't hurt. Happy to see another episode posted. Keep up the good work!

By floor condition we can judge about whole car. Obviously roof no leaks an car interior never was wett. Good sign that we see factory brown primer and paint. You never know really body condition before remove all paint and all coating. Awesome! Really great job. Nobody will do it for money these possible to do only for yourself by own hands!

Great video once again - thanks! If it really was a migraine, you can stop them coming back by taking zinc and magnesium supplements. I learned this while studying neurochemistry, and it worked great for me. Take zinc one day, magnesium the next, then zinc again, then magnesium, and so-on, every day. Have a great New Year, I can't wait to see the car finished in 2024! By the way, I used to lie on the parcel shelf of my father's Amazon while he drove, when I was 5 years old - it was great fun!

Thanks for the tip! Cool story of you on the parcel shelf. That's awesome!

Very thorough and fantastic work you are doing. Certainly will be nicer than the factory finish when you are done! Hope you are feeling better as well.
Hoping to have my Amazon assembled soon. Unfortunately the welding work done on my car didn't turn out to be cosmetically nice, but it is at least structurally sound now.

The holes in the floor are a good example of how a restoration can improve a car beyond the original design. The holes were put there for some reason by Volvo (a place to grip the panel or a flow path for paint or something I can't imagine) Then they were sealed with gap filler so they aren't supposed to be there in the lifetime of the car. When restoring the car welding them shut is the best option. Nice.

😂air compressor😂, that’s nothing, try battling with the bells of doom like Involvo’d or the national lawnmowers convention like Dean of Machines 😂
Great progress video, can’t wait for your next chapter 👍🤗
