Your recipes are awesome. I cooked a whole chicken, chicken thighs and pork chops today so I can meal prep tomorrow. I’ve been struggling since the 3nd week in Jan. I was down 8 lbs and then I gained 3. I use carb manager but find myself obsessing over counting carbs, fat, protein and fiber. Then I get disappointed with myself and then sabotage myself. Thank you for the great video .

You are absolutely right! I never had a weight issue until perimenopause. I was struggling with hot flashes, night sweats and insomnia so bad! I tracked everything for a few weeks until it started to trigger me. What I did learn was how much sugar and bad carbs I was taking in. I changed my diet, started walking more and weight training. Within a few days no more hormonal symptoms!!! Another plus was it helped reduce my anxiety a lot! I am 10 weeks in, I feel amazing and have seen great results. I am not deprived or super restrictive. I still allow myself to live life but just make better choices. Your video’s have helped me along the way. Thanks ❤

I'm with you. I'm short too so when I gain or lose 10 pounds it's very obvious! My vice used to be oreos. I would eat them like no tomorrow and once I leveled out with my protein sources it helped me so much!

Your videos and recipes are SO helpful!!! 💖💖💖✨✨ Oh and yes, I follow your advice on not snacking and eat two meals, lunch (noon) and dinner (6pm) and I’m not nearly as hungry as before. When I’m hungry I drink water or Zevia at night if I’m starving.

This is interesting stuff. I recently found out about a food service called just meats and I have found it extremely helpful in getting adequate protein. Its so tricky as a toddler mom to keep everything together so i haven't had much success with meal prep but i do find that regardless of meal prep the planning ahead part is SOOO valuable!

Yes! And keto makes those menopausal hormones ride a horrid roller coaster! A rule for me is no keto when menopausal. I do really good on a low carb/clean eating diet. Totally cut those processed foods right out!

I was on Keto for 4 yrs, I lost 28 pounds , and made keto recipes etc etc but when I was looking at my pics I looked so skinny, and I was deprived eating the good meals with family, I gained 14 pounds I look better, and I don’t deprive myself anymore , it doesn’t mean I eat whatever I want but if I feel like eating pasta I will eat it in a small amount and I enjoyed😋
I love swinging kettlebells. It is fun and effective. Just need my body length space to do it. Lauren Brooks is my favorite instructor. My weight only goes down when I lose from the fullest part of my bust. Two of my three problem areas slim but my bust typically stays the same and it is my largest measurement.

Hi, just wanted to comment about the weight loss standstill. What worked for me was eating like crap for a week (fast food, lots of carbs). Then going back to the diet. It like reset my body to lose weight again.
It makes sense that the body burns fat inthe absence of carbs because carbohydrates stores glycogen which is energy stores for a period of food deprivation ❤
