Darren in such high spirits, well done for making it home and all within the law buddy.
Thelwall Bridge is always the pits for delays. Driving to my brother's at Woolston, I would come off the M56, onto M6, and over Thelwall. I always hated this part. Going home, I'd go back via Warburton Bridge, and to M60 that way. When you mentioned going on M62, my thoughts were to come off at A57, head through Birchwood, and follow for the M62 that way. That's where my other brother lives🤣
There are those who want to and those who just get on with it. Good job Daren.

As a fellow American, I can't wrap my mind around that British people drink coffee and a lot of it. Americans on average drink around 400 million cups per day which translates to roughly 146 billion cups per year. That's last year count. Many people say this BUT IT IS THE TRUTH: YOU ARE THE BEST TRUCKER ON UA-cam WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT, DARREN!!!!!!!!!!

Just started to watch your vlogs mate ,really enjoyable to watch ,a question for you mate have you xrove the new motors with no mirrors , when reversing do you get better vision with the side monotors when reversing blindside
Yes I have mate and I will be honest I hate them 🙈 it’s harder to judge the distance than the mirrors and it’s easier to cut the corners when your not used to them too, after a few days I think you will get used to them but you can see a little better on the blind reverse
glad i live in Scotland we only have cameras on the A9 and a77 before ayr bought a jaguar xj from sturgess jaguar leister before good customer service in my 30s i knew a wild man called Bommer from my town he was a LGV driver drover for a company called john carr , a joinery company iwasnt working at the time and went down south with him a few times , sometimes he took down an empty trailer to Sheffield from Glasgow , would say to me chaz pop open the passenger's compartment and pop out fuse say no 22 , it unlocked the limiter lol a big wild man passed away before 60 but some guy very kind till you got on the wrong side of him then hell broke loose lol

It seams very hard h g v and complicated tacos rules for driver time restrictions rough day very day
You get used to it after awhile bud and becomes second nature
Some days you’re the pidgeon, some days you’re the statue
Well that’s one way to put it 😂 never heard that one before
How much does it cost to fill the lorry up with diesel
Around £600 give or take, not cheap to run
@@Life_of_Darren 😳🫣 how many miles will that last you for a normal days driving
@@themotoscotsman1327 a full take will last around a week, but that’s mixture of local and distance work, to get London and back will be just over a 1/4 tank
You make class 2 look light work. Class 1 much harder. Especially tramping. You would be a good coach, to help raw recruits into the industry
