Love black pudding. Always have some when visiting Bury, can't beat the original. The place name is pronounced Mertha Tidfil🤣. Me and hubby and cat, stayed just outside of Tenby. Lovely area. We drove the route from Manchester on the M56 to Chester, then towards Wrexham, and just keep travelling south all the way. Lovely scenic route, and didn't really take that long to get from A to B. Just got to the bit where you're planning your route back, and that's the way we took

You can use your caravan in the winter, I used mine 52 weeks a year, find a seasonal pitch for the winter not too far away just for the winter to save towing if you wanted,then you just need to connect your electric & water when you get there.

Why didn't you follow the sat nab and use the M50, A449. It's a good HGV route and misses the bridge c/w roadworks, not much time difference and shorter? Also, you then can access the A465 heads of the valleys road which takes you to Swansea via Merthyr

Not a trucker but I bet 17:12 is probably harder than it looks, the precision with how close you had to hug the curb with those back wheels is great! By the way, I know you're on a diet but in future those lamb burgers are great for a quick and easy home made kebab if you chop 'em up and cook, pitta, bit of salad, mint yogurt, etc.

Watch your videos every night since I found your channel about three weeks ago. Used to go with my grandad Friday nights who was a lorry driver also. I must say mate I hope you get paid well as you work a lot of unsociable hours and you always sound like you enjoy your job so good on you Darren.

we get them at nite were i live in central scotland as well as plenty rabbits also seen a badger and a few foxes were not far from the local golf club

Hey Darren. Just starting watching your vlogs really enjoying so far. HGV driving is something I've been interested in getting into. it would be a career change for me as currently a self employed plumber. Just wondered what you enjoy about HGV driving and how many days a week you work?

The battery drain is really annoying and honestly not acceptable for a commercial vehicle that needs to be ready to go when you need it.

If using A50 towards Stoke, I always used to come off J16, but if its backed up, it obviously takes a little bit more time, but best way would be the scenic route, which is head towards Knutsford (A50), go through it, then through Holmes Chapel (town a little narrow when coming off the roundabout, you go round the church which buts into the road, and after that, just keep on the A50, then on A34 for a mile, heading towards A50 to take you left towards Stoke at the roundabout (M6 is to your right). Apologies about this, but regarding your caravan, the one thing you need to do (and we got caught out), is to make a note of the key number for the caravan, and put it on your phone or somewhere, in case you need it. All caravan retail places have a shop, and will sell the relevant keys. The key number should be in your caravan log book or equivalent. Me thinks you need a spare pair of shoes to change into when getting out of the cab😂. Looking at your speeded up driving, the lowland, eg, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, with the fens, always reminds me of northern France and Belgium. Just lovely to drive. The sugar this country uses now is sugar beet, which we grow in this country, so the Cambridgeshire area is perfect, rather than sugar cane which we used to import from the Carribean. Talking about the A14, and not showing up on the satnav. Happened to me last year when I went for a week to just short of Bury St. Edmonds. When I came off the M6 and getting on the A14, my satnav lost everywhere. I ended up on the M11 heading north. Came off at Godmanchester, parked up, and ended up looking at my paper atlas. I can read that better. I knew exactly where I was and I was ok🤣🤣
