Spend as much time as you can with your son. Teach him as much as you can. Most importantly create memories. My dad died last year & even though we weren't that close I miss him.
crazy weather here in jockland , 2 neighbour's fences down and another's gazebo flattened all the shops shut and work places , and another storm due on Sunday !!!
Great vlog Darren, Miserable weather or what! Perfect timing buying them sunglasses haha, I quite like the look of the Renaults, And apparently it’s pretty much Volvo parts under it, but a lot cheaper to buy.. Are we gonna get a title soon .. “Buying my own truck” haha, Take care in this weather mate, Have a lovely weekend
Maybe one day mate I’ve been looking at some online to gauge how much there going for and surprisingly you can pick them up cheaper than I I thought. Still be a year or 2 off yet though
Renault not so much, a DAF I’d go for, but stay clear of Iveco though they’re nasty inside with cheap hard plastics. I was driving a 23 plate DAF XG+ 530 last week and it was really comfortable and well appointed. Off today because of the red weather warning so it’s a day for the house.
Hey Darren just have dodge the rain 😅 I did want ask a question sometimes you tell us what you gargo is sometimes not is that you can't or what thanks tell wife and little man hi. Robert logsdon from ohip
Mainly day driver but do the odd 1 or 2 nights when needed by the company. Best off both worlds tbh as prefer the distance work but also it’s good to be home at night

Thanks mate, have a great one yourself
I loved the Renault truck I used to drive Darren, the steering was brilliant.
The Renault I drove for a while was the same, you could spin it in the tightest yards no problems
Enjoy your vlogs Darren take care mate.
Thank you Tony
Darren the Renault truck is the same as a Volvo truck
Not good weather Darren the joys!! Hope you gave good weekend buddy ☝️
You too mate
Enjoy your vids Darren, but any chance you can put the camera in your cab behind you so we can see you driving, like Trucking with Johnno does. Cheers
I was thinking of doing that camera angle again tbh, if I can make it stable enough
Love it Darren

@@Life_of_DarrenI guess you have to consider resale value too.. In another few years I’m guessing a Volvo would hold better value than a Renault?

Enjoy the day off and your weekend Peter, the only DAF I’ve drove constantly had issues, but the iveco you get the impression it’s not a great build
Ask Lina trucker she's got a new one
